Re: Zo & Timmy 2014 HOF nominees
I think the league has forgiven Timmy for that whole John Amaechi fiasco. It's time for him to be in the Hall. Mourning certainly deserves it as well, for obvious reasons. Was one of the best centers in the NBA and arguably the best low-post defender (won two DPOYs) and was entering his prime when the kidney issue arose.
Timmy was someone they thought would have a Magic Johnson-like career in assists. I remember them talking about this during the 1992 ASG up and down during the height of the Run TMC era. Injuries hampered his game, but he was still one of the nastiest little guys during his time.

Hopefully both get voted in but if it has to be one of them it has to be Zo he was key in bringing the first chip to Miami to the stacked 06 team

Timmy will be on the fence for a few years, but Zo will definitely get in. He garnered a ton of respect during his tenure when he returned to Miami, despite being a shell of his former self. The guy was an absolute beast defensively and even had a few games where he bested Dwight Howard.
