Tonight should be a good test for the Wiz. It'll show if they really have taken the next step to becoming a competitive playoff team. We should win this by a few points regardless of Nene and KS.

Memphis is my 2nd favorite team probably, they play the type of basketball I like and I like their blue collar attitude. We win basically if John goes off I think. Especially with no shoot around now, I think we ought to be able to get into a better groove then them.

Memphis has so many desirable 4s though, Ed Davis, Leur, Johnson....damn...they can't keep em all.

not sure why that is hard to believe. Great game. I was there.

my question is, will Wall be the best player on the floor? If the answer is affirmative,
then we have a great chance to win. Book may (or not) surprise us with his D on ZBo
who's game is floorbound which may make Book's size disadvantage less of an issue.
We can't afford foul trouble. In fact, it would be nice if Wall was the one distributing
fouls to various MEM defenders. Make it so John.

Planning to brave the weather and go.

I would try Craigs List before StubHub.

Lots of tickets on CL. I just looked. A season ticket holder can do an
electronic transfer with paypal payment so it can/should be convenient.
Might find a great bargain too.

and say hello if you feel so inclined. Have not seen you since opening day at
Gordon Birsch many years ago.

We haven't been this far above .500 since...Bush was President? (Bush 1 or Bush 2, I am not sure which).

Not seeing a W here...

My Wiz neighbor is going so his tix are not for sale. But like I said,
I'm sure you'll find some. Look forward to seeing you. BTW - my neighbor in 104
is one of the few fans who's a bigger optimist than I am. He predicted 50 Ws.

If they win today, I will believe the Wizards are on to something they can sustain, if no one else gets injured. Wall's been playing like a superstar since the all star break. Ariza and Gortat have stepped up in Nene's absence. Booker's been surprisingly effective. The Wizards have really competed well. A win against a legitimate Western conference team, that would be Wizards win number seven in a row, will bring me on board with the optimists.

I thought they were toast when they lost 5 of 6 before the break. I'm shocked that they're going good even without Nene. Can they keep this up against a good, we'll coached, veteran Grizzly team?

Tonight's a huge statement game.

If anyone is interested, I won't be able to make it to the game tonight (damn snow) so I'm giving away my 1 ticket. It's in section 200 row C seat 3. Pretty good view of the court. Not too high up. PM your email address and I'll send it. Go Wiz!

While I agree with you, I fully expect this one to be a loss. And aside from Miami in a week, they don't face another .500 or over team until March 20. Hopefully they can rack up some wins before they head out West.
