Lebron in the drivers seat. Those who think otherwise must have just started watching basketball.

Okay, so what is the criteria that has LeBron as the MVP over Durant right now then?

That he's the best player in the NBA.

Durant's case is that is he is having a better season than LeBron, which is true.

Let's not act like there isn't a semi-valid argument for each of them. But if LBJ continues his post-AS form for the rest of the season (or even just till the end of March) then it isn't going to matter - he'll win without too much debate.

Not anymore.

Best player in the league by a margin at the peak of his powers. If you don't think that's a juicy narrative...

Yeah, don't know why he hasn't been shooting 8/8 from 3 more often or playing the whole 4th quarter in a blowout game vs a trash opponent. Guess he just didn't want to.

Vs this trash opponent Durant yesterday had 8-24
Stay cool and enjoy the MVP Race is very exciting.
We have still 20+ game......

In an easy victory.

They actually struggled all game and it was close. If it wasnt for Westbrooks near flawless game, they mightve even lost so....

Nobody needs to make a case for LeBron as he's doing that himself.

Not even the first seed in one of the worst conferences of all time, and not posting better numbers than Durant.

I still have Durant in the lead. Damn, I must have just started watching basketball.

How are you comparing Melo with Lebron? Your hate for Lebron is a little ridiculous. The MVP race is so close between the best players in the league, Lebron and KD. These epic performances just help us decide who might get the edge.

100% agreed. This is one of the closest MVP races in some time.

I'm just responding to the people saying "LeBron is now the MVP and it isn't even close." A clear response to LeBron running up the score at home vs the Bobcats coming off getting whooped by OKC last night.

The Heat aren't even first in the East (one of the worst conferences of all time) right now and Durant still has better overall numbers than LeBron, but now LeBron is the MVP and it isn't even close because of a dominant performance vs the Bobcats? LMAO.

At the end of the day, 61 points on 22-33 shots is just a GOAT level performance. You can't make excuses for his amazing performance. I think you should appreciate Lebron's performance rather than finding excuses to hate on it.

For the people talking about how he did this versus the Bobcats, I hope you know that the Bobcats don't suck at defense. 6th in the league.

So we runnin' on the consensus "better player" argument?

And Michael Jordan didn't win many more MVP's than he actually did, because...?

Miami would be the first seed in the West.

It was a 20 point game with 3 minutes to go. Let's not be ridiculous. Close to start the 4th does not mean it was anything other than an easy victory.

You got to give him credit for giving it all, next one will probably be about The Decision.

You still have Durant in the lead some other have Lebron in the lead.
Learn to accept different opinions.
Durant tommorow will play against a trash opponent(like you said today about LBJ) so I guess after watched LBJ today he will try to put a show too.
