Olynyk is just as good passing the ball and seeing the floor, if not better, than Zeller. Kelly has much better offense right now and neither looks like much on the defensive end right now. Now the defense can be chalked up a little to speed of the game and both being rookies. Zeller tested as a better athlete but does not seem to work it into his game enough. If he can learn to use his god given gifts on the court I agree, but that is a big if since he hasn't in his first 21 years of life.

his offense right now is better because he is being used the way he is supposed to be used, Cody is being made into a stretch 4 during the season

His offense is better because he is better on that end. He is scoring better inside and out than Zeller right now. Zeller does not have a NBA offense right now in any way. Zeller needs to be used in the D-league right now to learn offense. He is not long or strong enough to play inside and he can't shoot.

I like Olynyk better also. Zeller is playing better but he's gone from a grossly ineffective garbage man to a decently effective garbage man. This is why I hated the Zeller pick, he's stuck between positions: Not enough skill to play on the outside and too made of styrofoam to play inside. If we wanted a stretch 4 with a nice stroke we should have drafted Olynyk. If we wanted a bruising, athletic garbage man we should have drafted Steven Adams. C'est la vie.

I'd love to see Kelly play PF for a full season...

Olynyk actually play PF a lot for the Celtics, more than he play the C position

For me the jury is still out on Zeller. I like the high motor, his form looks good on his jumper even if it's not dropping, solid defender and showing the ability to be a solid rebounder....

With all that said, good lord this kid cannot get to the basket without getting blocked. I mean it's getting embarrassing. He had one dunk a couple games ago that was amazing just because he didn't get blocked. This kid has great size and had a 35.5" no step vert and almost a 38" max vert at the combine. How on earth can he be such a poor finisher around the rim? He looks like a below the rim player when he gets blocked. I almost don't think it's fair to judge Cho because that just defies logic.

one reason Zeller struggles to finish in the paint is its very easy to knock him off balance

Look at this interesting stat. It shows the average speed per game (in kilometers/hour)

Cody is the only interior between all those guards

Hi, guys! Haven't been here for a while.

I've just calculated Cody's PER 36 over the last 5 games, it's quite impressive:

20.2 PTS
9.7 REB
5.2 AST
2.0 STL
45 % FG
2.43 TOV
4.45 PF

Since his average playing time was like 17-18 minutes over the same stretch, you could say this is for real. I know it's stats only, but better to have good stats, than bad, isnt' it :D

To be honest, I've missed all of the games, so I don't know how he looked on court actually.

I agree that Cody has been impressive over the last 5, he's been pretty good for the last month or so imo.

He's going to be a good player imo.
