Cool, another pointless victory. Our top 5 pick is slowly turning into a top 10 pick. This season has potential to be a lot more depressing than it already is.

I like how when we had so many epic laker teams against average blazer teams we always lost to the blazers and now with scrubs we win against a very good blazer team. OK???

To truly tank we're gonna have to have more injuries again or shutdown guys like Pau and Farmar.
We'll see what management really wants these last few weeks.
Agree!

happens all the time they down play the opponents. all those championship years we lost to scrub teams all the time (bobcats) finally the table turned.

I don't understand why Marshall is still starting, Farmar is easily twice the player and the only one on the perimeter that can break a defense off the dribble and create for our shooters. We should moreover be developing Farmar because he's more than likely our best option at starting PG or 6th man caliber back up next season.

A few thoughts:
Is Farmar still on a minute restriction? He may not be, but I get the feeling they're saving him to develop the younger guys. The Lakers know what they have in Farmar.
Also, this would work in favor of keeping his value down, even if slightly/not give him the expectation yet that he would or should be the starter next year.
I really like Farmar as a gamer off the bench, but would have no qualms with him starting next season.

I don't think Farmar's value needs to be kept down because he is willing to give up money to stay in LA, its just a matter of keeping him satisfied enough to make his decision look wise.
Other than that I'm still looking to see a larger sample size of how he performs especially defensively and if he can be a starting caliber PG In this league. He's clearly a much changed player since we previously had him, especially bringing in a great improvement in leadership and defensive instincts.

I agree with all that (the value thing was merely an added benefit), but with two hamstring injuries in a row and this season all but over, I feel they'll bring him along steadily. Also, benching Marshall (even after his 3 scoreless games in a row) would probably be disheartening. I'm guessing a guy like MDA is trying to keep him confident.

I don't mind Marshall playing...
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
