if lebron gets fouled: "idk about that. looked like a superstar call to me." or "THE FANS ARE MAD CAUSE HE WASNT FOULED! THE MIAMI SUPERSTARS ARE GETTING CALLS!"

then he says bron needs 4 more rings to be better than jordan. clyde kept him in check tho. said he places no one above lebron and that it's a team game

but yea, superfan sideline guy was cute

Haha, it's especially funny considering James Harden is playing for The Rockets. Is there anyone better at getting those calls besides Durant? It gave me a good laugh listening though.

And another thing....................other than D, can Beasley consistently stop being **** dumb and stop the overpassing BS he's been pulling before that 2nd half (which he did a good job in the 2nd half). In the 1st half, he was passing up good shots which led to even worse shots. That's one thing that's been irritating so far this season, you're open off a good pass, let it fly and shoot the **** ball make or miss instead of dribbling to a dumber shot/turnover

Patrick Beverly. We had him and let him go for nothing. He killed us tonight.

Force-feeding Shane minutes at this point. Teams are starting to disrespect his shot and dare him to shoot. The Heat have a walking scoring machine in Beasley off the bench who'll demand attention. Shane's intangibles aren't stopping West or Durant in a 7 game series . Shane can get the spark at anytime during the playoffs why not the bench?

Spoelstra went to Haslem and Mike Miller before Shane caught fire in game 7. Beasley was damn near keeping them in the game single handedly last night. I just want to see him start for a quick 2-3 games before the playoff and see what he gives you with the unit, just a little wrinkle.

It's just a comfort level thing. If you're on such a short leash that you know a mistake or two will get you pulled and you might not get minutes again that week, you're going to be overthinking everything. You saw it in the first half and it was painful watching him pass up two or three WIDE open 3pt shots. Then his minutes crept up, he got an easy bucket or two, and stopped thinking each time he got a touch.

Mike Miller had some of the same issues when acclimating to this team. I distinctly remember him commenting on Lebron and others getting on him to shoot when he's open. It's so easy to get caught up in trying to keep the offense flowing and role players concerned about taking shots away from the big 3.

He was about ten times more into the game than anyone else on the court. He was playing playoffs intensity.

He's a solid player. Can't hate. Good for him for having a good game, but I don't think he's a superior player to Chalmers or Cole -- all similar level players IMO.

The feeling of Beverley killing us tonight is surely similar to how other teams feel when one of our big 3 is off, but Chalmers goes for 20+ with 3s and sneaky floaters.

If LeBron doesn't play extended minutes (41) against the Bobcats to gun for 60 points does he wane so significantly in the second half of the Rockets game?

I loved watching LeBron go for 61, and witnessing a career high in points for the best player in the game is a special moment. BUT, beating the rockets and evening up the loss column with the pacers would have been sweet.

All in all, no regrets on my part, because there is still plenty of time to gun for the 1 seed, especially with a couple head-to-head matchups against the pacers coming up this season.

Thoughts?

Maybe we don't lose if LeBron had his legs but we really didn't need it that much. We needed Bosh to show up.

Lebron just didn't give a **** in the second half. It's that simple. The two times when the midget was on him and he threw up garbage made it obvious, plus the ridiculous last second three over Howard. It's almost like he saw the Indiana score at halftime and said we can mess around and win this, but if we lose we're no worse the ware. I know it's pure speculation, but man it sure looked like it. With all that being said, that wasn't the main reason we lost obviously, just an observation on the best player in the world's lackluster play in the second half. Horrible three point shooting and Chris Bosh playing like a world class &^%$# on both ends of the floor are why they lost. Oh well making up that game would have been nice.

Have u ever played games back to back?

In aau or highschool tournaments when we had games the same day I would be exhausted at the end of the second...I know lebron had a day off but they exert 10000x more energy per game

He played 41 mins and scored 61 and then played game and if u watched, the pace was insane at first

I'm not bummed about it. You can't win every game and no one is gonna remember this loss. Everyone's gonna remember the 61 points. You gotta sacrifice something to achieve history. I'm fine with it, especially since we still have plenty of time to regain the first seed.

You're probably right and I'm probably ankle biting a little, but I've seen him play with energy before in similar situations. I've also seen him not go hard, when he most definitely could have. BTW, all the greats have done the same thing so that's not a unique indictment on Lebron. It was just an observation on my part.

Well we did get some superstar calls, Wade in particular. It was still funny seeing the shock on James Harden's face like he had never seen it before.
Those calls wouldn't have decided the game though. I don't like them, but if we weren't so piss poor from three last night, this would've been a deserved win.

these hype will die down sooner or later. after they play it fair or they actually gave us the calls we deserve. i hate this bandwagon squad but they're funny.
