Jordan is playing better individually, and in a better team than Drummond, and is definitely an all-defensive candidate this year. He should be on this list.

Joakim Noah is THAT guy on the Bulls this year. A centre with an all-around game? Get outta here... If they add some real talent on the wing this off season Derrick gonna be balling in 2014-2015

Noah's been playing so well that he's even contributed to the success of Taj Gibson this yr. Unreal how they traded away Deng, but looks like management may have a plan.

I'm actually shocked how close some other guys are to Noah. He's been far and away the best center in the league this year.

Whoa...was Cousins left off this because they just assume that the answer would be obvious then? Or is whoever made this poll an idiot? I'm not sure I see any other possibilities.

Realgm given list of centers putting up these numbers:

Cousins 22.3pts (.483 .729) 11.6reb 2.9ast 1.5stl 1.2blk 3.4TO
Jeffersn 21.2pts (.501 .672) 10.4reb 2.1ast 1.0stl 1.1blk 1.5TO
Dhoward 19.0pts (.591 .551) 12.5reb 1.8ast 0.9stl 1.8blk 3.3TO
ChrBosh 16.6pts (.527 .822) 6.8reb 1.1ast 0.9stl 1.0blk 1.5TO
MkGasol 13.6pts (.463 .799) 6.5reb 3.7ast 1.1stl 1.3blk 1.8TO
Drmmnd 13.2pts (.619 .412) 13.0reb 0.5ast 1.3stl 1.8blk 1.3TO
JoaNoah 12.0pts (.480 .718) 11.4reb 4.8ast 1.1stl 1.4blk 2.3TO
RHibbert 11.4pts (.458 .763) 7.4reb 1.2ast 0.4stl 2.4blk 1.9TO

Puts up poll of which center is having best season leaving off first player in list. Smooth.

It's close between Noah and Big Al. Noah started off slow for most of the first half of the season.

Big Al on the other hand, after recovering from the injury and got the ball rolling, has been the biggest difference with the bobcats this year. Charlotte is now able to play in and out with him in the paint. The bobcats would not be in the running for a playoff spot if it wasn't for him. By far the BIGGEST difference in comparison to last year and their previous seasons. Regardless of how bad the east is this year, this is still a huge improvement for this team.

Howard and Cousins are the two best in the west and Jefferson is by far the best in the east . Not even getting a all star nod . Sense the break he's averaging over 26ppg . With the last three games over 30ppg . With not even a thought of even being a player of the week . Guess it's the haves and the have not's ha.

Typical...The NBA is ALL about politics....like always....

The two best Centers Cousins and Big Al, and neither of them All-Stars. It is one thing to ignore someone, but to know of them and yet not acknowledge their accomplishments is just plain out rude, and the NBA way.

I forgot that the only stat that matters is points.
10.1ppf @ 66%, 14rpg, 2.45bpg

I'm not saying he is the best but he is better than at least one player who is on that list.
