dumars has come out and says he expects to be fired but will step down beforehand. i don't think a player will be the one to leak the news, though.

funny dumars blames his bad moves on our economy.

"let's get rid of a guy who we hired with little to no experience and GM, and hire another guy with zero GM experience!"

You're just buying onto a name. Have you learned anything? Excellence in one area of the game does not necessarily translate to others. Dumars was a fantastic player, terrible GM. What makes you believe Jackson's great coaching acumen will translate to recruitment, scouting, drafting and budgeting player contracts? It's a completely different game. While I would assume Jackson could be a fantastic recruiter, but I wouldn't guarantee much after that.

Joe has done a lot more positives for the franchise than bad... there are no excuses for the past few years failures (although draft picks were above average)... I just hope that he is welcome here and respected... don't be an ass and boo him when he visits.

Yeah I feel the same way. I'm hoping he accepts a small role in the front office doing community outreach or something. Not sure if a clean break is possible.
