Peterson wants Vick

What do you guys think? I still don't think vick is as bad as people make him out to be, couple him with AP in some read options, and thats one difficult offense to defend. The defense lost vick a couple of games early in the season

Vick can still make plays with his legs but he's not a consistent passer, he turns it over way too much, and he's injury prone.

He might be a slight improvement over the Vikes current starters, but I actually think Vick would make a perfect backup at this point in his career. If your starter goes down, the opposing team is going to have to fear/take into account Vick's ability to beat them.

Honestly, Vick is the last QB you want on your team whether its as a backup or a starter.

Not a great indication of Peterson being serious about winning a championship, but Vick would make the Vikings better. At least until he's too hurt to play.

when i saw this a couple days ago i thought it might work because vick would go for like half the season while the guy the vikings draft (whoever it is) develops on the bench and then when vick gets hurt they new guy can jump right in - no controversy or anything

but i think that went out the window when they signed cassel

I'm sure what it has to with Peterson being serious about winning a championship. It may say something about his talent evaluation skills.
