Ummm, okay. You except Wiggins to develop in the trajectory that Paul George did?

Paul George broke his ceiling twice over and developed beyond anyone's expectations? He is the exception, not the norm. The number of low skill, athletes who become busts outnumber George 20 to 1.

Why you so salty about wiggins?
I do agree that he doesnt look as great as was hyped but its college. Westbrook wasnt impressive in college but look at him now.
We will see if u were right about him

Wetbrook was still explosive and agile off the dribble in college.

I could have sworn you were going to stop posting in threads about Wiggins.

One more post bookmarked. Bumping all this in 2015

Bump in 2016 if you're talking about PG trajectory.

Comparing him to Corey Brewer is ridiculous.

And no I'm not saying this because of the 41 point game. I'd say if anything becoming the next Corey Brewer would be the absolute worst case scenario for him.

It looked foolish the minute it was posted.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

And 4 blocks.

41 pts, 8 rbs, 5 steals and 4 blocks is a ridiculous stat line, especially with very high efficiency.

Wiggins vs Embiid is certainly heating up.

No offense, and I agree that Wiggins is definitely a superior prospect without question, but Corey Brewer was a damn good college player and MoP of the Final Four. You guys act like he was a complete bum. Hell, even though he busted as the #7 overall pick, he's still made a successful NBA career for himself as a role player.

A lot of these dudes have no idea what player evaluation is. So they get offended when the prospect is compared to a role player or something in the NBA.

Player evaluation is not stats, role on a team, or level of success in the NBA. It's what their physical tools are and who skills most similar to, even if it is at a worse/better level.

This is why some get their panties in a twist when Embiid is compared to Dream. "WTF he's no HOF center!!!" No ****, you doofus, he's a **** 19 year old in college.

Off topic, but I stand by the statement that if Wiggins lights it up in the tourney, he will be number 1 pick. I can see dude averaging like 30 ppg from now on

See the potential finally. He was killing them at the rim.

Potentials always been there.

Teams that played majority of their defense zone didn't help Wiggins but when teams went man to man against Kansas like West Virginia today Wiggins has been able to show his explosiveness in attacking and his skill set. He's been a very good defender all year as well.

Wiggins game isn't really meant or the college level, but rather for the NBA.

I knew he could attack the rim but he didn't show he could consistently finish (get still shows that a bit) before which made me doubt how good he'd be in the league.

Embiid has the numbers to back up his hype. Wiggins doesn't. In this new analytical NBA, GMs are leaning less towards sportscenter highlights so the chances of Wiggins being drafted before Embiid is slim to none.

 Embiid is scoring ~ 10 ppg. Granted his advance stats look sexy, but at the end of the day GMs will be drafting him based on his learning curve and potential. He doesn't have traditional #1 numbers.
