Agreed. This should and would have been an easy loss against a more competent opponent.

Clips have now matched their 2012-13 win total through 64 games. A 12-6 finish would match last year. 16-2 would be required to notch 60 wins.

18 turnovers and 17 from the starters (Hedo had the lone bench t.o with the bench at the end) that is horrible. The starters needs to refocus the offense. Feels like for us to go fast we have to work the offense through Blake well Paul needs to take control of the rock and push the tempo.

I didn't watch the whole game but I watched the end. I thought that finally we had a comfortable lead, but we let the Hawks back in. Honestly with how we played, I don't know how we won. Just lucky I guess. Blake could have put this game away by hitting some free throws. Again we were lucky that Teague missed the first free throw. I don't know what's up with all these turnovers. I'm probably just ranting a little bit, but at least we won the game.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Despite win, Rivers still wants more

"I wasn't real happy with our execution down the stretch of the game," Rivers said. "We won the game, but we wouldn't win a lot of games with the way we turned the ball over and how careless we were with the basketball. Every night you're not going to play well, it's just human, but you can execute well or at least be in the right spots. The turnovers the last three or four games were just too casual."

Rivers didn't want his team celebrating the win because squeaking out a one-point win over the 26-35 Hawks, losers of six straight, isn't going to help them beat teams like Oklahoma City, San Antonio and Houston in the playoffs.

"You're not going to win deep lucky," Rivers said. "You're not going to luck into it. You're going to have to go get it and do it right."

"I almost felt like we lost in that locker room because I think we expect a lot from ourselves," Chris Paul said. "At the end of the day, the name of the game is "win the game." So, obviously we're happy we won, but there are a lot of things that we need to clean up."

You such think the tempo was fast? Paul pushed it pretty frequently this game. I wouldn't say tempo was an issue, they just kept throwing the ball away though
