Yes, Noah was shooting so many ships sent to free Lebron from Butler Island that he accidentally shot down the Spurs one, so they need a month to fill up a new NBA roster.

Alright, this time I'm definitely feeling confident in a loss, coming off an emotional victory, playing against Pop...

I hate games against the spurs. I may hate them more than any nba team and they're boring on top of it.

They were a whole heck of a lot more boring when they were winning all those championships feeding Duncan in the post, possession after possession, running the clock all the way down to zero like what the Bulls do now. Since they started running their offense through Tony Parker, they play with a lot more pace and their passing makes their offense fun to watch.

I kid you not, I was gonna tack on a "paging KingCuban in 3, 2, 1..." line onto the end of my post cause I know you like that bitch ass finesse Western Conference nonsense. :D

Mostly I hate the Spurs because I hate foreigners so much and.....

jk my man

In seriousness, though, I dislike them because, well, I don't like their style. I consider Parker and Duncan to be about as boring of players of their caliber that you will find (I do revere and respect the quality of their games). I much prefer a more physical game, and a more vocally passionate game - an angry game - a Joakim game. They're too calm for me. I'm sick of seeing them near the top of the WC for 15 years straight. I respect the hell out of the Spurs, I just don't enjoy watching them. I prefer more of a brute force type game - some of my favorites over the years outside the Bulls have been sort of the anti-Spurs - Shaq, Kobe, Gerald Wallace, MWP, etc. Also I can do without Duncan and Manu whining all day to the refs. The Spurs have basically been the same show for nearly 15 years. I find them extremely uninteresting at this point. Not enough new plot developments for me.

I find high pace to be much less entertaining than grind it out, physical play in the post. To me, generally, the more points scored in a game between two teams playing well (as opposed to just playing like sloppy crap), the less entertaining. My favorite games are generally when two great teams score 80-95 points or so each, like today's Bulls-Heat game.

I love physical low post feeding and really miss it from the NBA.

But they have completely changed their style of play over the years. They have had to given Duncan is no longer prime Duncan anymore.

Despite this, they still maintain an elite offense and defense. They have the 4th best defense in the league in terms of DRtg whilst running a beautifully efficient offense.

2nd in the league in eFG% whilst playing at a pace that allows their offense and defense to be elite.

Just a brilliant, brilliant organisation.

I can see why some may be bored with it (though i disagree), but hate is a strong word for the best organisation in this league.

You can't be great for 15 years without something being pure and incredible. The Spurs are one of the good things about this league.

Absolutely brilliant organization, I agree. But I pretty much hate all teams other than the Bulls (I consider sports in part to be the only appropriate outlet for emotions like hate), and it's a lot easier to hate the great teams than the bad ones, because the great ones stand in our way.

The Spurs were that, but you called them boring.

They're also 13th in the league in pace so its not like they're going nuts with 7 seconds or less offense like the Lakers or something.

They're also 15th in 3 point attempts so they're not some run of the mill gunning team.

Yeah, they were that. Then years passed, they stayed at near the top, and that, to me, is boring. The biggest reason I find them boring is that Parker and Duncan are clearly either aliens or robots lacking any human emotion when they play. I just mentioned the style of play because it doesn't make them more appealing to me. I just want to see them rebuild already with a different core. I want to see a new story out of SA. FWIW, I actually used to like watching them in the DRob/Avery Johnson era.

I may have been one of the only Bulls fans who wanted Miami to beat them last year. Yep.
