One of the reasons Atlanta has lost so many games is their health. The Hawks have lost Al Horford, Gustavo Ayon, and John Jenkins to season-ending injuries. Head coach Mike Budenholzer’s squad probably could have overcome the loss of Ayon and Jenkins, but losing Horford has been a serious blow. During this time they have also had to deal with injuries to starting point guard Jeff Teague, big man Pero Antic, and their lone All Star, Paul Millsap. These three guys have returned but it may be too little too late.

That about sums it up.

Health has caused us to lose, we arent trying to tank, the east is so bad, its very hard to tank

We have been decimated by injuries. One thing about this team is that it competes almost every night. We have lost a bunch of close games specially without Horford and Millsap. Teague panics in crunch time and we just don't have anyone who can create their shot, that makes life much more complicated. I don't think we are tanking at all. We just have been outplayed in pretty much the last 15-20 games. That's still not enough to be out of the playoff picture in the east. I think Ferry and coach Bud will have a good idea of what this team is made of come the offseason and that might work just fine for us.
GO HAWKS.
