No Texans QB talk. No NFL draft discussion of some offensive tackle from Midwest North Carolina State University of Technology and Agriculture who may be around in the fifth round.

Not a bit!

Just Rockets.

I don't even get the fascination with football. IMO only thing football is good for is an excuse to "have sports on" while stuffing face without really requiring that you pay attention for any length of time. 10 second play, 2 minute pause, repeat.

Now that I think about it, football is bigger in places where you have to drive more. Maybe that no-attention-required feature helps solve the time issues that commuter theft creates.

DVR is made for football IMO.

What makes you say that?

I was at that game. The Rockets were playing 5 on 8 from the opening tip. They really wanted this win, you could feel it, and I'm glad the refs didn't ultimately succeed in taking it from them.

So you can start watching an hour or so into the game and skip through all the downtime between plays.

That's exactly what I do with my League Pass on most days. Wait about an hour and a half before starting the game which would allow to watch the entire game without any breaks.

Usually for Rocket games I only pad 30 minutes to my DVR so last night it cut off before the overtime ended. Luckily I decided to DVR the Dwight Howard show which was after the postgame show so i was able to watch the end of the game. That was a really long game even without the overtime. From now on I'm going to pad 1 hour from the end of the game.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

wow, i duno what to say here. gotta give espn some props for ranking houston as the best team in their power rankings... thought they were too salty for this

http://espn.go.com/nba/powerrankings
The Rockets, in case you missed it, were the 10th team this season to have a crack at playing the Heat and the Pacers during the same week ... and the first of those 10 to win both games. Now let's see how far Houston can take its 15-2 surge with road games looming in OKC, Chicago and Miami.

who's right behind houston? clippers! same as the west rankings.

That's ok, I'd rather that we be regarded as a darkhorse team than an overhyped favorite. Respect will be earned in the playoffs!

The Clips are scary cuz their W-L record against western teams is similar to the Spurs and the Thunder (26-11), while we are have similar record to the other playoff teams. (24-16)

Oh, no, and they (Clips) just beat the Suns with Granger scoring 15.

And every one of them will be gunning for us. No one is overlooking this Rockets team anymore.

Well, looks like this young team is much better at home. :ouch:
