If he doesn't find a home with you, we'll welcome him back next summer.

"But then what's the big deal about improving your jump shot and adapting to the NBA game when your improbable childhood has presented so many challenges? Like your mother being murdered when you were one year old? Four relatives dying in a house fire when you were seven? The grandmother who supported your extended family dying when you were 11? Not to mention the fact the coach who had recruited you being fired after your freshman year of college, leading to a transfer, and you spraining an ankle while working out for the NBA team led by one of your boyhood idols?"

Damn. That's resilience. Thanks for the articles. Looking forward to seeing him play more with us.

you are welcome. if you read the quotes from the pacer players after the Granger trade, you'll see most of the guys were more upset over OJ having to be cut than by Granger leaving. he wasn't playing much, if at all, but he was a locker room leader even though he was one of the youngest players. it'll be interesting to see if his mental toughness rubs off on some of his new teammates.
Please edit long quotes to only show what puts your new message into context.

I think OJ can be a real solid player in this league. Maybe not all star but one of those glue players/role players that contenders always love to have. I hope the Kings keep OJ after his 10-day contract. So far, he looks decent to say the least.

So we officially signed Royce White to 10-day contract and sent him to the Bighorns.

Zero risk, and the franchise builds a reputation of being good to its players. We might not be a huge market, but we got your back.

Good for him. I think Vivek and Pete is going to be a great owner/GM support system for Royce. Hopefully he's able to get some run with Cuz and co. this season.

Here are some clips of his first two games. He hasn't played all that well, but you can see the ball handling, passing skills, and a good looking jump shot.

Yeah I think the thing that impresses me is his fluidity with the ball. Hopefully he can really lock into his game and prove that he can compete on an NBA level.

I agree, for a 6'8 260 dude, he moves around pretty fluidly. He had some pretty nasty crossovers for a dude his size. In those short samples, I think it was the vision and passing that stands out to me. Gotta tighten up that defense though.

Orlando has been a decent defender. He hasn't shown much anywhere else. I rather give Trent Lockett a try.

I like that Pete is attempting to leave no rock unturned with Johnson and White but from what I've seen neither are worth keeping around.
