Would be nice to see the Nets lose a few so Bobcats can grab the 6 seed and avoid Miami/Indiana in the first round

thats what i was getting at. i think the Cats can win a series in the first round if they avoid either of the top 2. and it would be fun to watch

Ice storms suck so much. Finally got power after about 5 days. Did get to see a tree take out a power pole which took out a mailbox literally right in front of me. That was exciting. Dodging falling power lines, not as much fun.

Jerry Richardson makes MJ look like Jerry Buss. Can't believe how disrespectfully we are treating Steve freakin Smith right now. Anyone think the Panthers will even make the playoffs next year with this roster turnover?

Its not Richardson, it isn't his way to treat players like this. It is our new GM. I think it is disrespectful, and I don't quite know why the hell we are doing it (as it literally saves us nothing this year).

I'm not quite sure what Gentlemen is planning on right now, but there has to be a reason that he is letting so many players off the books. Perhaps we will make a serious run at Nicks (which would be nice), or something like that?

It's not about this year, keeping Smith on the books past July 1 adds an extra 3 million over the length of the contract. He's due 10 and 12 million the two seasons after this one, which is when we have to re-sign Cam and Luke respectively.

Its not Jerry its Dave, and yes they will make the playoffs the defense is still VERY good and if Dave has similar FA luck he had last year they will be fine, can also draft and i have heard we are the favs for Hakeem Nicks

he hasn't been released yet, he will probably be on the team a few more days unless he and the GM can come to an agreement

from what i have heard they are going after Hakeem Nicks and Roman Harper was in CHA for a visit, i'd like to have those two i think they will both be solid

Ginn is in Arizona, Captain is a Viking, Mitchell is a Steeler, Gross retired and so did 2 other OL and Steve got cut

well hopefully the Bobcats have a more successful summer than the Panthers have had so far.
