Ethan Sherwood Strauss, ESPN (2/6/14)
“What's our record, Jordan, with our full squad? What's our record? Full squad. When we have everybody? Does anybody know what our record is? When we've got Andre and Steph and everybody in the lineup? We're pretty darn good." -- David Lee, to WarriorsWorld’s Jordan Ramirez

With that, Mark Jackson’s “no excuse basketball team” gave way to a new slogan for the new year. “Full Squad” was a grand vision of what the Golden State Warriors would be with their vaunted starting lineup, and the phrase doubled as a bulwark against criticism. If you’re judging this team right now, just wait -- we’ll be truly great with our starters back.
...

The danger is relying on perfect conditions in a sport that’s sure to bring about complications. Full squad or not, a “no excuse” team should find a way to persevere through the trials and tribulations of a season. That’s what a title contender does, at least.

I dislike them for different reasons. I've despised the antics of Golden State more though.

Doc seems to think so and I would have to agree based on this season.

Eric Patten,Clippers.com (3/12/14)
Before the season started, before he had coached a game in Los Angeles, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers thought his new team’s biggest rival was not the Memphis Grizzlies, a team the Clippers had faced twice in the postseason, or their intra-city mates, the Lakers.

Rivers thought the Clippers (45-20) had the most contentious relationship with Golden State (41-24) resided some 370 miles north. That has proven out in the previous three meetings, which included on-court incidents, off-court banter and plenty of things in between.

because i don't think the Warriors are quite at our level, although they do match up pretty well against us. once Mark Jackson gets fired, i won't have a whole lot of reasons to resent their franchise either.

damn, maybe it is a rivalry since my dismissal comes from a core hate.

i hate the Warriors whole unspoken mantra.

make it to the 2nd round last year but behave like theyre underdogs.
the pressure is NEVER on them when we play....it's on flop city...overrated griff etc. etc....whatever negative names they have for our team.

hence they play looser than we do.
we better fix it.
