I bet we play the Bobcats back to back games in Charlotte right now, we win. I just have no convidence at home. 0. I think we'll be better in the playoffs when the crowd is full but again, no excuse. Pro players, pro coaches. They have to get better energy and a better vibe going there

We've won a bunch of games in a row at home....I think we would be well above .500 had Jefferson not been injured to start the season

I know. This is meant as no disrespect to you. I would say that about nearly every team. Doesnt make it true but pretty much all our fans feel much better about our chances right now when we are on the road. Im betting we beat yall the next game there and you probably win back here again unless we start getting more energy in the building for the last few home games. Doesnt make it true but I just feel alot more confident on the road right now against any oppnent

I knew Gortat should have allowed his in-game fighting idea to remain a thought that only he knew of the second I read about it.

Jefferson abused Gortat.

This team gets too happy with itself, I'll admit it at this point (not that I even completely disagreed before but) Wittman has got to go or be an assistant. He's had his chance, but our 11 or so bad losses at home have to go on the man who is supposed to motivate. Like I understand you'll lose some in a season to bad opponents. But come on man, we have become a crap shoot at home. I don't know but among teams with even a .400 win percentage we have to have the most home losses by far in the league against awful road teams.

9 fta...that's y we lose games, if gortat is getting abused wall should be gettin the other team bigs in foul trouble...His jumper was on this game but we know that's not consistent...Our team isn't playin the game our players are built for...we have 3 good 3pt shooters...but we have 1 of the quickest PGs in the league...we don't attack the paint...we aren't making bigs work on defense...we deserve to lose games when we don't attack
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!

Good game guys.

I've read this whole thread and you guys are pure class, except towards your own team! ;)

Most fanbases it's the opposite.

Best of luck in the playoffs, you guys deserve it.

P.S. Whittman is the problem for your team, you guys have some great talent.

Yeah.. Charlotte ha won 7 games in a row at home. Jefferson was garbage the first 6 weeks of the season due to injuries.

For whatever reason Wittman can't get his team ready to play at home, these losses just hurt:

vs Sixers
vs Cavaliers
vs Bucks
vs Nuggets
vs Pistons
vs Celtics
vs Cavaliers
vs Bobcats

Looking at that list I just have to puke.

Wittman should not have gone back to Wall as soon as he did. Not saying Wall shouldn't have come back in, but it was a perfect opportunity to try Wall/Miller with Miller running point. Wall went cold after blowing that layup and was not playing with good pace. Miller was having his way with Charlotte's point guards...

Beal is really frustrating. He was downright selfish in the third and kept Charlotte in the game..then Wall caught whatever beal had.

The way this team plays at home is crap.

Or that we're just not a good team. We're average. We're the definition of average. We just happen to be playing in a historically bad conference.

It would have been even nicer to have him available to guard Jefferson.

Jefferson abused Gortat in no small part because the Wiz almost never gave the ball to Gortat on the other end.

We didn't friggin make him play any defense.

Our offense was pass, pass, pass around the perimeter... jack up a long two.

Welcome to Randy's world.

to me thats still not even a Wall thing. I think the system makes it extremely hard for him. I still say he would live in the paint and at the line in the right system. Sick of Witt

When was the last time Beal shot over 50% in a game. Looking at this roster, I see what Ernie was going for. They said we needed 3 pt shooters to spread the floor for John and he got that. We needed an interior presence, not just a shot blocker and he got that. I just don't see any vision with the construction of this team.

Every move is reactive.

How do you put together a team where only the point guard can handle the ball at all? It's like John has to set up every single play, score, play defense, etc. Whenever John starts off hot, the rest of the team become passengers and by the 3rd quarter, nobody else is in rhythm offensively. That's not a winning formula at all.

No young, athletic, shotblocking big to protect the paint; Nene's albatross of a contract; Gortat likely to be resigned. There's really nothing to be excited about. Trust me, the playoffs novelty will wear off after 2 seasons of being swept in the first round.

Gortat took it like a champ and said he just got outplayed. Stated that he let Jefferson get in the middle of the paint too easily...

Gortat was trying, he just got bodied in the second match-up.

Wall needs to get to the line. Period. Beal too.

This is inexcusable.

They won't give Wall calls.

Beal just doesn't try to get to the line.

I'd agree if we didn't look like the extract opposite on the road. We look like an actual 'good' team on the road. At home we look like a soft bunch that plays to the level of their competition....
