do any of you guys use ting? seems like an awesome alternative to major cell phone providers but also seems too good to be true. i also dont know how good sprints network is.

no idea what that is, but if Sprint manages to convince regulators to let it buy T-Mobile... it'll definitely help out that network.

Ting is like a pay-per-use phone service with no contracts or overage fees. You only pay for the minutes/data/text that you use. Big difference between ting and other services is they use sprints network and also have pretty much every phone available including iPhone and galaxy.

We used Straight Talk for a while which was supposed to use Verizon's network. We eventually kept our phones and switched over to real Verizon... I can tell you, it was a night and day difference. Calls were much clearer, connections more solid, and the support went from being worthless to passable...

I don't know if Ting is anything like that, but I'd be careful.

I'm a big fan of Verizon's network, I get LTE almost everywhere and rarely get a bad connection. I **** hate their customer service though, I will never walk into a Verizon store again. They only care if you're there to buy something since they get paid off commission.
