Lance Stephenson- Resigns with the Dallas Mavericks to a 5 year/$86,250,000 deal. He is happy being a huge part of that team and playing alongside great players like Dirk and Chandler. Once Dirk retires, he will most likely be the man on this team and he wants to prove he can do so. This is also the most money he was offered as the Mavs had his bird rights and could offer a 5th year.

Kyle Lowry - Signs with the Orlando Magic to a 4 year/$54,000,000 deal. Kyle is very excited to join a team that consists of Anthony Davis, Vucevic, Oladipo, and Gallinari. He feels like this team can be one of the best in the East for years to come. They also have a ton of flexibility going forward in terms of cap space/draft picks so they can continue to improve. Based on his play last year, he expected to be paid and was disappointed in the Raptors offer.

Luol Deng
- Signs with the Portland Trailblazers to a 4 year/$72,590,000 deal with a player option in the 4th year. Luol is extremely happy to go to one of the best teams in the league. He fits right in alongside Ibaka, Hibbert, Lillard, and Beal.

Rudy Gay - Signs with the Phoenix Suns to a 4 year/$58,412,640 deal with a player option in the 4th year. Rudy had two similar offers but chose to sign with the Suns because he feels they have a better chance of competing and he will get to play a big part in their success. He gets to play with Dragic, Holiday, and Tristan Thompson.

Zach Randolph - Signs with the Sacramento Kings to a 4 year/$56,000,000 deal with a player option in the 4th year. Gets to play alongside a rising star in Cousins and create havoc on the offensive end of the floor. This offer gives him the money he wanted and the opportunity to play on a good team.

Pau Gasol- Resigns with the Dallas Mavericks to a 3 year/$38,700,000 deal. Likes the money and the fact that he will be playing for a very good team. Though he may not start, he has been assured of 30+ minutes per game.

Greg Monroe - Signs with the Indiana Pacers to a 4 year/$64,050,000 deal. Will be the primary offensive option on this team and will play next to Joel Embiid, a great young big. Current team has 12 hours to match.

Gordon Hayward - The Denver Nuggets have sign and traded him to the San Antonio Spurs with a 4 year/$64,050,000 deal with a player option in the 4th year. There are two parts to the deal: Part 1 - Gordon Hayward for Marcus Smart / Part 2 - Trey Burke and Shabazz Mohammed to the Spurs for cap space. The teams involved must post the deal in the Trade Thread.

Evan Turner - Resigns with the Charlotte Bobcats to a 5 year/$42,500,000 deal with the 4th year having an ETO. The Bobcats have a nice team with a mix of young guys and vets and Turner wants to help this team make deep playoff runs.

Eric Bledsoe - Signs with the Indiana Pacers to a 4 year/$64,050,000 deal. Gets the oppurtunity to be the leader of a young up and coming team and potentially play with Monroe. Current team has 12 hours to match.

Avery Bradley - Signs with the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 2 year/$6,090,000 deal. Current team has 12 hours to match.

Isaiah Thomas - Will drop to Tier 3

Ed Davis - Will drop to Tier 3

Patrick Patterson - Will drop to Tier 3

Greivis Vasquez - Will drop to Tier 3

P.J. Tucker - Will drop to Tier 3

Tier 3 is now open.

Tier 3 Results:

Marcin Gortat - Signs with the Denver Nuggets to a 2 year/$30,000,000 deal with the second year being guaranteed $2 million. Too much money to pass up as he can make $17 million in one year and be a free agent next year. He will have the opportunity to be one of the main scoring options on this team to increase his value further.

Isaiah Thomas - Signs with the Milwaukee Bucks to a 4 year/$60,000,000 deal. Too much money to pass up and he can prove he can be the man on a team.

Mario Chalmers - Signs with the Indiana Pacers to a 4 year/$29,890,000 deal.

Spencer Hawes - Signs with the OKC Thunder to a 2 year/$6,090,000 deal. Was looking for more money, but the money dried up as other players were signed. He is happy to be on a contender though.

Anderson Varejao - Signs with the Phoenix Suns to a 4 year/$16,766,980 deal with the 4 year being a player option. Loves the makeup of the team, the money offered, the training staff, and the makeup of the team.

Ed Davis - Signs with the Indiana Pacers to a 4 year/$34,160,000 deal. Current team has 12 hours to match.

Carlos Boozer - Signs with the Denver Nuggets to a 2 year/$14,000,000 deal with the second year being a team option. Very happy with the money and the chance to mentor younger players.

Thabo Sefolosha
- Resigns with the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 4 year/$16,000,000 deal. Won a championship last year and wants to help win another.

Paul Pierce - Signs with the Chicago Bulls to a 2 year/$8,000,000 deal. This was tough for Pierce as he was offered more money by two other teams but he doesn't envision playing more than 2 more years in the league and wants the opportunity to win. Playing alongside DRose and Noah in the East is his ideal situation.

Danny Granger - Signs with the Sacramento Kings to a 3 year/$12,143,871 deal. Good fit on the perimeter.

Nick Young - Signs with the Sacramento Kings to a 2 year/$5,000,000 deal. Good fit on the perimeter.

Mo Williams - Signs with the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 3 year/$6,500,000 deal. Gets to be the starter on the defending champions.

Trevor Ariza - Signs with the Detroit Pistons to a 4 year/$22,650,215 deal with the 4th year being a player option.

Ray Allen - Resigns with the OKC Thunder to a 2 year/$6,000,000 deal with the 2nd year being a player option. Enjoys being on a contender and believes they can win it all next year.

P.J. Tucker - Resigns with the OKC Thunder to a 3 year/$9,691,875 deal with the 3rd year being a team option. Enjoys being on a contender and believes they can win it all next year.

Glen Davis - Signs with the San Antonio Spurs to a 3 year/$6,270,000 deal with the 3rd year being a player option.

Greivis Vasquez - Signs with the Miami Heat to a 4 year/$12,810,000 deal. Current team has 12 hours to match.

Patrick Patterson and anyone else not signed in Tier 3 will drop to Tier 4 which is now open.

OKC happily resigns the greatest 3 pt shooter ever (Ray Allen), the Blake Griffin killer (PJ Tucker), and the poor man's poor man's Kevin Love (Ryan Anderson is a poor man's Kevin Love and Spencer Hawes is a poor man's Ryan Anderson).

Reggie Jackson
Ray Allen
PJ Tucker
David West
Spencer Hawes

Denver is pleased to Sign Gortat to a ridiculus contract
year 1 - $15 million
year 2- $15 Mill (TO) $2 mil guaranteed

we offered a lot more money upfront to allow up flexibility in next yr's big man class free agency should Gortat not perform up to expectations

also pleased to sign Carlos Boozer
Year 1: $7 million
Year 2: $7 million (TO)
Honestly only reason we signed him is bc we needed more players that we can trade that make more than $3 million a year. Boozer is immeditiately on the block and can be had for a couple of elite prospects from a contending team. (we will only trade him to a contender). Avg 14/8 and play 'good' defence for the RL Bulls

I'm looking for the rule on Larry Coon now. All I see is amnestied players cannot return. I can't find about waived player still earning guaranteed money return. I'm still 99% sure, I just need to find it.

Pretty sure warriors cannot match on Vasquez since they are over hard cap. I'm not even sure how they could extend a qualifying offer

Per "yahoo answers"

"If a player is traded and subsequently waived by his new team, he cannot re-sign with his original team for one year following the trade or until July 1 after the last season of the player's contract, whichever is earlier."

Same instance, just didn't get traded.

Based on this, Anderson Varejao will drop to Tier 4. My apologies to the Suns, it's hard keeping track of which team waived specific players.

Needed to clear something up and as a result:

Patrick Patterson signs a 4 year/$29,890,000 deal with the Indiana Pacers. Current team has 12 hours to match.
