30/8/3/3 For Wiggy, let's see how far he can carry this team in the tourny without Embiid

If Wiggins goes to 76ers or Boston, it's a wrap. Dude will be a top 10 player by his third year, just wait on it

Well said.

Yeps. Quite amusing the kind of stuff people have been saying about Wiggins throughout the season - mostly by obsessing with production while completely disregarding the context of that production (namely the developmental stage and the system he plays in).

He'll likely never be LeBron James (nobody ever will likely be LeBron James because another LeBron James, like another Jordan, Magic or Bird, is just a super-rare ocurrence) and it'll take him a couple of seasons to blossom, but he'll be an All-NBA player for a decade.

He will be a star but he has a long way to go. Don't expect him to be a 20ppg his rookie season. He will add muscle and his IQ will grow.

He has a decent shot already, his defense will be elite, and he's super athletic. I hope the Lakers can get him and he should and IMO will be the number 1 pick.

He has all the tools to be a generational talent.

What people forget is that his game and body are built for the NBA game. He's going to be fantastic, I too hope he lands in Milwaukee.

An Antetokounmpo/Wiggins wing will be frightening

You guys already have your freak athletic wing in Greek Freak. What are you going to do with Wiggins/Giannis combo? Neither are bulky enough to play the 4 or quick enough to guard 2s (which half are basically PGs in today's NBA).

Wiggins would do the best on the Sixers or Jazz with their PG play. Wiggins needs a PG who maximize his finishing abilities and an up tempo pace.

Wiggins just scored 30 pts. to lead the Jayhawks over the Cowboys. Good time to start heating up! This after a 41 pt. performance last game.

Check out the athleticisim of this kid, not many in the NBA can get up as high as he can right now. Wiggins is like a gazelle, he's graceful and light on his feet.

So, it looks like what a lot of people were saying is true, that all year he tried to just work in a offense that doesn't suit him at all, and now that Self is letting him play like he will in the NBA, he is the player everyone expected him to be.

Exactly what a lot of people were talking about when he struggled early. What I like about it is it gave wiggins a chance to improve on his weaknesses while playing in a different system
He has the tools to be a special player, hopefully he'll be a high level player for a long time in the league

Don't know how anyone can't salivate at the prospect of Wiggins.

Already showing glimpses of elite level defense, total package in terms of athleticism. I think people underestimate the importance of defense at this level and especially in today's game. It's the difference between a player like Curry and Chris Paul.

He has game-breaking skills but just needs refinement. The way he can split defenses and stride to the rim off the bounce is already impressive. He lacks the body control/strength to finish at a high level right now but I'm not sure he's any worst than players of an analogous age group in doing so. Hell, not many players can get to the rim like that at will (when given free reigns in Self's system).

He's by far the #1 pick for me and I'm trying my best to hold all my biases aside (especially since my team won't be drafting him).

I really do not see an argument for Embiid or Parker over Wiggins barring a catastrophic tourney. I like Embiid a lot at #2 but Wiggins upside is just too damn high to pass up on. I see him as having superstar potential. Parker is definitely a lot more polished but I'm not sure he's any less raw offensively than Wiggins. There's so many things Wiggins does (like getting to high efficiency areas around the rim) that Parker simply cannot do.

Let the kid play a season in the NBA before people make any predictions on how we will play.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

What?

To predict how he will play in the NBA, we have to let the kid play a season in the NBA?

That just don't make any sense.

LMAO Wiggins is quicker than almost all SGs in the league. Have you actually seen the dude play? He has that Derrick Rose/Russell Westbrook/John Wall level quickness.
