What worries me is the depth. Instead of bringing in Webby off the bench, we're bringing in Porter and Temple. That's a recipe for disaster.

Webster is not Beal. Sorry. He's been horrid at times. He's all about face-up where at least Beal can shoot a little off the dribble. I'm not saying it's over, but if Beal and Nene are out for the rest of the regular season, I think we're looking at 6th place at best and probably 7 or 8.

John will have to play about 45 minutes which means he will be coasting on D.

IF Nene and Beal are out along with a gimpy Webster, I just feel we aren't that good a team... I wouldn't expect us to beat Brooklyn, but you never know...

Yay I win that should have been much more easy. But hey I'll give john a nod for coming up big in the end.

Meh, if Wall can hit Webster for the spot up a la Ariza, he'll be fine. As of right now, he's a better shooter than Beal. Quite frankly, I rather see the offense run with us actually passing the ball than having Beal and Gortat do their triple screen trick at the three pt line for a long contested Beal 2. Take away Wittless' toy for a while before he's breaks it even further.

I think Webster is hurt and playing through it... I think that has something (probably a lot) to do with going 0 for 4 tonight... I don't think big minutes would be good for him or for the team right now. I would rather see him sit a few games out and get healthy.

I didn't start watching until the end of the 4th. What an exciting finish, and what a showcase of the teams strengths and vulnerabilities.

Just heard them say on TV that it's a sprain.

Dude is always limping. That's why I think Temple should start if Beal misses a few games. At least he'll defend and play hard. Please don't start slow-ass Dre.

Things may be evened out with Brook Lopez's absence...

I like the Wizards' chances even without Beal.

Brooklyn has been playing better as of late. Funny that the turning point of their season may be Jason Kidd and the way he dresses. They are 10-21 when Kidd wears a suit and tie and 23-9 in his current attire.

I agree that the Wizards are a worse team without Beal. I don't see how this effects Wall's playing time that much. Porter and Temple will most likely get Beal's minutes and after that Miller.

Miller should/will just get his minutes backing up Wall or closing games. I really am not impressed with Temple. I would rather see Rice start than Temple... but neither is a good choice.

Beal certainly has that Paul Pierce anointing. He can pump fake the mess out of you with a fairly minor injury.
