The 2 Guards: down the line in the playoffs
IMO come crunch time in the playoffs everyone can agree on our front court but our guards are another matter. Assuming JJ is unavailable who would you want to partner CP3? While Crawford may seem an obvious answer at first, I think because our team has the ability to score points easily then his lack of defence outweighs his ability to score because we will have CP3 and Blake along side him.

I think it really depends on the match-up, Collison has been great with CP but last night we saw him have a lot of trouble getting posted up by Klay. If Granger can keep playing like he did last night, his size and defense would be great to have out there out the court late in games

Re: The 2 Guards: down the line in the playoffs
it'll be matchup.
westbrook + X = cp3 + jj/jcross (depends on availability)
splash bros = cp3 + granger/mattyb
parker + gin = cp3 jj/jcross/granger
it's all matchup.

ya, completely depends who we are playing, and the score. if we need offense, obviously jamal. defense, barnes. combo of both, granger. another ball handler, collison.
totally depends on the scenario

it all depends on matchups, but i like the idea of barnes at 2 and granger at 3

the great thing is that they're both interchangable from the 2-4 positions.

if we need to, we can go cp3/(jj/jcross)/mattyb/granger/BG and we'll be running like no tomorrow

Newfound Depth to Lead to More Small Ball?
Eric Patten, Clippers.com (3/15/14)
Clippers Suddenly Crowded at Small Forward
“I’m not going to get them all on the floor so I’m not going to try,” Rivers said. “There will be times when teams go small, where we’ll use one of them at the four. We’re trying to win. I’m not trying to win who gets to play the most. We’re trying to win basketball games and get to be a great team. That takes sacrifice and guys will sacrifice minutes.”
...
Since training camp, Rivers has wanted to utilize a two small forward lineup that included Barnes and Dudley playing in the frontcourt alongside Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan. Early-season injuries to Barnes, Dudley’s struggles scoring the ball and the necessity of having Griffin and Jordan on the floor have all made that lineup less effective and utilized than Rivers envisioned.
But Granger may make that a viable option once again. Barnes and Granger have played 18 minutes together in the two games prior to Utah, including some time with Barnes as the shooting guard. Some of the lineup combinations, though, have been out of creative necessity, particularly with Jamal Crawford and J.J. Redick still sidelined by injury.

barnes doesn't have the lateral quickness to guard any real guards, let alone some of the quicker small forwards. i would think there will be a very small group of 2 guards he could keep up with.
ehhhhh f it.

Re: The 2 Guards: down the line in the playoffs
The Clippers have the luxury of having several good players that they can use depending on who is hot and the particular matchup that night.
Get Reddick and Crawford healthy, and with the additions of Davis and Granger, I really feel like the LAC have the best role players in the league. And to me, Davis is critical, they really needed a decent third player at #4 and #5. Overall, I think the roster is quite formidable now.
