i said it that last nights win could flip the switch. If Wall is aggressive at home then the rest will follow. I actuaally felt in the 3rd when we were down 9 that even if we lose, I feel way better aboiut us then before because this was our 1st home game in forever that we had pep in our step

I think we got outplayed about 35 of those 48 minutes. Bench won that game after giving us nothing last night.

What a game, John Wall for prez, what an inspired performance. Co MVP, Drew Gooden, what a game.

Wow. What a win. They battled back. Nice to see the bench bail us out. Gooden was absurd.

Give Beal credit for gutting it out with bad back and ankle. Didn't play great but we needed him. Started out strong at least. They all D-ed up in the end when they needed to even though we let Thornton go nuts.

Don't get me wrong, I still think Witless is destroying this team, and I no longer hate Beal. I hate Randy for encouraging really, really....REALLY bad habits in the kid. The sooner we get rid of him the better.

The loss of the draft pick is worth it. Not that the Wizards are going to the championship, but they had to learn how to play in meaningful games like this. Wall is turning into a man. Beal will soon blossom in a playoff atmosphere. **** the lottery.

Better team? Brooklyn might be better than the Nene-less Wizards, maybe.
No way are they better than us when both rosters are full strength

But what the hell... Drew Gooden?
I'm sorry but it's hilarious to me, dude was out there cooking with the mid and long twos and then hit those 3s...

Definitely. It seems like he's been struggling with his shot lately other than the 3 ball, but that finish last night gave him a little boost. Tonight, he was fantastic against an All-Star caliber guard. Williams had nothing in the end to counter John.

Honestly I can't recall following Gooden much, was his mid range J always this good? I was baffled by the signing but overall I need to eat crow on it. He's had maybe one or two bad games but does mostly good things.

What a great, gutty win that was. Wow. Tremendous defense down the stretch, tremendous performance from Drew Gooden (who must be having the time of his life!), and Wall's focus and intensity were on display in a truly terrific outing.
Man that was fun. However critical any of us can be of Ernie, and however skeptical about the future of a team built for this year, it's still a pleasure to watch basketball games that matter in March -- and for us to win them!
