really hoping Detroit keeps that pick this year. Their team is fundamentally broken. Then again it could be a Toronto situation where if they drop the right guy their team could turn it around quickly. But I'll take my chances next year.

Can you imagine if we found someone willing to trade a mid-1st round pick for Hendo and the Portland pick so we can both land a prospect we like and free up some cap space for a free agent? That would be a ballsy move.

ATL if they hold on make the playoffs? Hendo and POR 1st for the 15th or 16th pick? Moves us up about 6-8 spots.

"NBA Trade Information, Rumours, Team Changes & Stats
Ramon Sessions wants to return to Charlotte this summer, when he is a free agent. Loved his time with the team and was happy playing off the bench/in his role with them.

Good to see the Bobcats look to have finally turned the corner and are on the path to getting a little respect from players in the league. The Jefferson signing can not be understated.

Just saw that on facebook, looks like Sesh is already sick of Milwaukee lol

Of course he's sick of Milwaukee. Who wouldn't?

1) They're tanking.
2) They suck even when they're not tanking
3) It's Milwaukee

This is true not to mention hes from Myrtle Beach, but if he does come back that would make us above average at our PG position next season.

I've always believed he is coming back on a deal almost identical to what we offered him in the first place.

i would like to resign Ramon for 2years at 4million per year would be a great fit with the 2nd unit

Ramon/Neal/Biz would be a good start for our 2nd unit

also Portland lost again this time by blowing an 18 point lead in the 2nd half

i have been sticking up for sessions a lot the past month or so, and i would love for him to come back. however, 5 mil is too much money to pay for a backup pg when you have a top 15 starter who is young and can play 35 minutes. when we originally gave sessions that deal we still werent sure kemba was starter material. sesh was signed as insurance.

if sessions comes back, it needs to be with the understanding that he'll most likely only get backup pg minutes, unless matchups dictate we need two pgs on the floor. ideally the days of sessions as a combo guard getting 10-15 mins at sg are over. those minutes must go to a shooter - like neal, CDR or a free agent or draft pick.

Excellent post Fats and I completely agree.

That said, the 2/10m is what I think we'd have to offer him.

I believe at least 2-3 teams will offer him something in that ballpark.

I like how the article posted in the GT(?) states that Sesh was happy in his role as the backup and he enjoyed his time with the franchise.

Ramon might give us a home team (Myrtle Beach close enough) discount and he knows and likes all the players here so that should help

If Kyrie has torn his bicep does that help CLE sink like a boulder, which is heavier than the cinder block that is DET?

(My guess is they're better without Kyrie)

Yeah, I dont think the loss of Kyrie is debilitating to them at all. Jarrett Jack is a highly competent veteran backup that would start on many teams.

Detroit is looking really bad and I dont know if Cleveland will be able to out-tank them.

looking at Clevelands schedule (.5 game lead on DET)

vs MIA L
vs OKC L
vs HOU L
@ NYK W
vs TOR L
@ DET L
@ BRK L
vs IND L
@ ORL W
@ ATL L
vs CHA L
vs DET W
@ MIL W
vs BOS W
vs BRK L

If DET wins 7 (my guess) Detriot will finish 9th by 1.5 games (i think)

Spoken like someone who hasn't watched Jarrett Jack this season. I said the same thing, I was ready to call him a near-average (like 18th-20th) starting point guard in a backup role. He has... well... disappointed.

A couple optimistic W's on that list. The Cavs are completely awful. As it stands I don't think they even stand a chance at NY. Boston or Orlando might be better than them too.

They're beating the Heat last time I checked.

Heat pulled it out against Cavs, thank God.. That would have been a crushing blow.
