Man, that was a terrible, terrible loss. There was no way we should've lost that game. Missed FTs, poor guard play, foul trouble, etc.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Terrible end to the game.... I cant understand why not one of our coaches ((head coach + assistants) didnt say "hey, lets put <someone other than Wall> in there to foul."
I abhor Silver

No doubt.
Just a heartbreaking loss. How could you lose that? How?

Witt is dreadful as usual. With that being said, if guys make the plays that we are suppose to make then we win. Wall shouldve been subsituted for at the end of OT but he also shouldve drove past the big instead of pulling up for the 3 at the end of regulation and he definitely shouldve made both or atleast 1 FT. Our bigs shouldnt have let Cousins get 40 offensive boards late

Makes me wonder how Pop pulled a Wittman in Game 6 of the Finals.

Talk about a gigantic missed chance. With Toronto losing, we could have been within striking distance of the 3rd seed.

Wall lost the game plain and simple in regulation despite Witt losing his mind in OT and Ariza getting his a-s-s handed to him by Gay. Once he picked up that fifth foul, he stopped playing.

I'm sure Leonsis is taking note of all this.
I can't wait for our season to end in a 5-game playoff exit so Wittman can be shown the door. You just can't have that kind of coaching incompetency.. you just can't.

Its the Wizards they lose games like this. I think I am done watching this team this year, after this crap. They have no one to close a game out. They will get embarrassed in the 1st round.

If we're playing woulda-coulda, I think we should've given the ball to Wall at the end of regulation and had him attack the basket. Cousins is a big body, but it's not like they have shot blockers down there. Just let Wall attack the rim and see what happens. Worst case scenario, he pulls up for a 15 footer over a much shorter Thomas.
In OT, Wittman forcefed Beal like his name was Veal. The offense should've flowed through Wall on the pick and roll with Gortat, with the other three spreading the floor. Don't know why they went away from that, either.

And Beal maybe shouldn't have taken 23 shots if he was only going to make 7 of them. That kid needs a coming to Jesus moment with his jump shot.

Wall is still the best PG in the East..
but you cant blow that game. If he makes just 1 free throw you win the game...or at least force them to take a 3 point shot.
Wall is a great young talent. But just being completely honest. When its Overtime......Wall is finished. In terms of fatigue. Only the last Overtime Game was when he had enough energy to pull it off.
So when he misses the free throws...I said **** they're going to lose if this goes into over time.
*sigh*

when i constantly see wall being outplayed by people like Lowry and Isiah thomas...it makes me think we are getting had into thinking he is the franchise.
Trade him while he still has value

Beal gets 42min and goes 7-23 and 3-6 from the FT line.
Still, Ill say it over & over again. If Wall is aggressive then we will most likely win and if not then we will have a hard time winning. He didnt look at the rim at all late in the 4th and into OT. Was scared to have to shoot and that showed up at the FT line but yet he was a front runner and wanted to take that terrible 3 with the big on him

no, Wall did also. There was a switch late, kinda like the Raps game when he got Psycho T on him and Wall settled. he couldve maybe put the game away with a nice drive but he just pulled up for the dagger 3 which was a bailout that missed. It was 37sec left and we were up 5. He drives then we probably win
