Quick question about our cap space

Post#1 » by aad » Wed Mar 19, 2014 3:03 am

Okay say the cap stay at 58mill our payroll for next season is 41mill with stuckey and CV coming off the books so I been reading that we will have 8 to 10 mill in cap space but with the cap being at 58 want that give us atleast 15 million in cap space?

And buy the way we can use our cap space first then go over the cap to sign monroe I wonder will gores let the new GM use the cap space this summer

This has been talked to death at this point I think. The short answer is roughly 10 million.

Don't forget that Harrelson has a team option for roughly a mil (which we should pick up) and JJ has a player option for 4.5 mil.

No you cant. I have no idea why people think that. Every FA has a cap hold. You have to renounce it or sign the player. Monroes cap hold is about 10mil. We wont know exactly what cap space we have untill the new cap is released but it should be +60 mil and some are saying as much as a 4mill jump.

FFS! How many cap threads are we going to have before one gets a sticky?

Is there a more important topic?

Given our situation THIS is what we need to be talking about and educating each other.

Knowing the CBA is a good thing
