Yeah, but as Simmon's noted, Jalen didn't really ask him a question. I thought he did well though. He gets more out of Pop than Sager or Doris Burke at least.
To me, Simmons is like a wrestling heel in that he's hated and he knows it, yet it doesn't seem to faze him. His voice sounded more nasally and annoying on TV than it does over the podcasts, which was weird to me.
I don't know about Jalen. He's pretty entertaining but I'm not sure he knows the game that well. I think he stumbles through things.

Re: GT: Spurs vs. Lakers
The difference IMO is that Popovich respects Rose as a player. It really didn't matter what he asked, as long as it wasn't stupid he was going to get a better reception than others have. People like Doris Burke and Craig Sager are pretty much media clowns and I think that rubs Pop the wrong way. I understand Sager played the game also but he doesn't seem to have the same respect for it that Roes does. At least that's how he portrays himself.
Pop also seems to be generally annoyed by the media and the league for demanding an interview during the game and I agree with him on that 100%. There is nothing said in any of those interviews that adds to the game.
I don't think Rose is a great host or very insightful, but I like him generally as a person I guess. Simmons comes off to me as one of those general "know-it-alls" and his obvious bias for everything Boston is annoying. I could be totally wrong having never met him in person but his personality from afar is like that whiny little obnoxious guy that everyone wants to punch in the head.
