Should see rice getting called up...would love to see him start for beal definitely would be the perfect time to see what he made of...considering the schedule isn't necessarily tough and we would be able to evaluate our roster completely for off season moves
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

I would be incredibly happy if that happened - it would definitely help keep Webster healthy for the playoffs.

Temple will probably get the minutes, but it's time to call Rice-up, would love to see him steal Temple's minutes,

If Beal has to miss some games, I'd start Webster and increase Miller's playing time off the bench. Nothing to see in Temple. No reason to think Rice is remotely ready to play significant minutes in a push for the playoffs.

I'd actually give Glen "The Savior" Rice some run - maybe 20 minutes a game - if for no other reason than to save the legs of Webster and Miller. And how hard would it be for him to fill Beal's role. When Wall is in the game, Beal's not much more than a catch and shoot guy. Just have him focus on doing that.

As we've seen, Temples' lack of shooting ability creates big spacing problems - which often kills the team's offense.

I'd take a chance on giving Rice some minutes. The kid from what I've seen hustles hard on defense (over pursues and is too aggressive but you have to love the effort) and if he gets hot, thats game right there. Plus, the kid will take it to the hoop to draw fouls.

He's been pretty good for every game in the d-league, save one.

He should have got more playing time before the Last Vegas crew started to be an asset coming off the bench. Hope we bring him back next season, I liked what I saw from him in his limited minutes.

Why Porter isn't in the d-league is a mystery to me.

Typical Ernie Grunfeld stupidity just letting him rot on the bench like he did with Veseley. Idiot.

OMG at 0:32 on that video....

It could be "politics".

I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Falk has a role in this decision.

Just a gut feeling....

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

+1 I honestly think that Ernie is too-lazy to "manage" this part of the club. Porter should have been playing FT in D League games long-ago. You have vet players there now playing and waiting.

Glad to see that we are keeping Rice warmed-up and ready to play. Porter needs to being doing the same, he NEEDS playing-time somewhere.

Like all Dleague games, the action looks a bit slow of foot with crappy defensive spacing etc. and nobody sprinting back on transition. But I love that teardrop jay he shows, if he can get it to fall consistently that's a shot that will work in the NBA no matter the height of his defender. Also like the hints of his read/recognition of when to shoot/drive.

Interesting how his affect comes off looking like Nick Young, sleepy looking, slow, but his stat line is the anti-nick, posting 7 boards, 2 steals, a block and at least a couple assists a game, plus decent shooting &'s considering he's hoisting 6 3pt attempts a game (at 38% dragging #FG, down his 55% shooting from two. Pretty solid efficiency actually).

That's the thing that makes it tough to enjoy the positives of this otherwise fun year. We're playing pretty good with the over the hill gang, but neglecting our future desperately scrapping for relevance to save the jobs of the current regime. Us diehard fans will be here long after the FO is gone -- well, maybe... we hope... -- so it's harder to lose our perspective for a team that, let's be honest, has really been fun to watch.

I'm bout ready to shrug and lose perspective for a while, for the playoff run, but man it would be nice to believe in a real future beyond the next few months.

Young or Old, as long as the guy is a gamer, I'm ok with that. Glen Rice looks to be at least as good as Tim Hardaway Jr. I'm interested to see how Porter looks in D-league too, especially if he's only going to rack up DNP's. If Otto was getting 10mpg I wouldn't mind it but not getting on the floor is demoralizing. Paying him #3 overall money to rack up DNP's is flat out stupid.
