Whats up with those "do you approve" polls?

Please think about something more interesting, other than asking for (dis-)approval for all NBA teams. Makes RealGM look really bad.

I like it. It's interesting to see what hardcore NBA fans (those who are visiting a basketball forum on the daily) feel about each FO. RealGM isn't trying to engender some kind of disapproval or negativity; it's simply asking if you think they're doing a good job. Two weeks ago, and this result probably would have been something like a 70-30 on the disapproval end; and now, heavily influenced by the Phil signing, we have almost a 50-50 split.

And there's plenty of treadmill teams that if you were to see a poll on SportsNation or something asking the same thing about them -- the results would likely be far more favorable toward those teams because a casual fan sees it as "well they're in the playoffs, so they're doing pretty well," whereas I think on RealGM, you have the guy who understands that a treadmill team is a year or two behind a tanking team in terms of pushing into that "true contender" status, which is all that truly matters at the end of the day.

PS. Does anyone know how to access older polls -- like older than the simple "Poll Archive" option?
I want to check out where we sit with all of the ownership opinions.

I don't know how to get to any before 2014. But just reading through what we have had in 2014, 6 in January, 6 in February, and 4 so far in March. Seems they are doing 6 each month so they should end in May. Here is a list of teams they have made polls of this year:

Warriors
Pistons
Nuggets
Mavericks
Nets
Cavaliers
Heat
Grizzlies
Lakers
Clippers
Pacers
Rockets
Knicks
Pelicans
Wolves
Bucks

Exactly. Hiring Phil Jackson does not wipe the slate clean.

I dont know how anyone can approve their work. They hired PJ, So what? He isnt stepping out on the court, and he hasnt made any moves yet.Anyways, it was a no brainer move, nothing Dolan should really take credit for

Hard to tell now. For me the barometer starts as soon as the season ends. Hiring Phil sure makes an impact, but it's what he does that determines whether or not Knicks MGMT are progressing.
