I can't argue with his shooting touch along with what the nba is all raving about but there is more to it than shooting lights out. I just want to see the rest of guys get involved with Harden's shooting touch.
I don't have a problem with the amount of shots Harden takes. He's such an elite offensive player that you want him to shoot as many good shots as possible when he's on the floor. But him holding the ball and letting the defense get setup is an issue and a bad habit Harden badly needs to break. He just needs to learn to make his moves quick or keep the ball moving.
edit: LOL @ that DMo flop
Haha, okay, you are in love with Harden if you think Handen should take any shots he desires while neglecting talents around him to take the Rockets to next level.
Notice how I said "good shots." If our offense could produce 50 open looks for Harden every game, we would have by far the best offense in the league. Harden should be taking every good look he gets.
Of course defenses are not going to allow that, but like I said, the only issue I have with Harden is when he holds the ball because it stalls the offensive movement and the defense can get set. The only time Harden should hold the ball is the last possession of the quarters and when the shot clock is too low to be able to generate a good shot from further movement of the ball.
