at the very least, maybe we can get that blazers pick down to 21. doubt the bulls can catch them to push it any lower.

Cavs and Detroit play tonight. Pretty big game in regards to us getting that pick.

Yup. There really is no happy medium. Either it's pick 20-something or pick 14.

I'm going back to glass half full

We make a move to the 6th seed. We win our first round series.

Detroit picks up their play moves back in to the 9th spot for the lottery
Portland continues to lose, drops to the lottery and gets the 14th pick.

We win all around.

We get the 9th pick and 14th pick.

I'm far more fixated on the Blazers pick because this is our last crack at it. It will definitely convey this season and you always want to squeeze the most value possible out of your assets. We need things like this to break our way if we are to become a powerhouse again like the old Hornets.

Kemba Walker
Al Jefferson
Lance Stephenson

Cody Zeller
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Bismack Biyombo

Zach LaVine with the Blazers pick
Top 10 pick with the Pistons pick in 2014 or 2015
Hornets pick ~15-20 in 2015

I expected Portland to fall but now I think we can get the 14th pick . They really have to adjust that bench . 9th and 14tn could make a sweep from the heat better.

They are a sad, sad group of players. Poor Drummond. Can't wait till he leaves that sorry franchise.

That loss took a skilled tank commander.

Funny how so many on this board think this garbage team will be any different next year.

They will have a top 8 pick, and a huge trade chip in Monroe, plus Drummond improving and a new coach and GM.

Why wouldn't they be better?

Didn't watch the game but Brandon Jennings and Josh Smith can be incredible tank commanders when they want to be.

They still have one game left against the Cavs if Im not mistaken. Id laugh my ass off if they have the 8th worst record and someone miraculously jumps them and they fall to 9.

Other teams near them have picks and can select comparable players. They will probably end up with Tyler Ennis. And Monroe is not a huge trade chip at all. He is a rental unless they do a sign and trade and he's looking to get paiiid.

A new coach and GM isn't going to change the fact they are killed by chuckers Smith and Jennings and Drummond doesn't play defense.

I'm sick of this panic over the Pistons pick.

I'm totally done talking about it.
