GT: Nuggets vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Tue Mar 25, 2014 6:03 pm

When: 8:30 PM ET, March 26, 2014
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Tomorrow nights the first night of a home and home against the Nuggets and it should be a tough one against the very scrappy Nuggets.

Go Spurs!!

And for those interested Tony, Tiago and Danny will all be back in the lineup.

I'm guessing we split this one either way. Winning tonight and losing the 2nd night of the home and home on the road, or playing lackluster tonight and getting beat, then coming back focused in Denver. I will be pleasantly surprised to win both of these.

Denver is pretty wounded losing Hickson. Hopefully our depth can keep us. We came out a little flat against the Sixers and Denver is sneaky good when teams don't take them seriously.

These Denver announcers say some strange stuff. The said that we think Baynes is the future of our center postion. Then they said we wanted Kyle Korver but settled for Marco. I don't know if either of those statements are true.

The Denver announcers are pretty awful. Timmy looked like he tweaked his ankle after a foul call against him and they said "that's what he gets for complaining". Come on guys, that's pretty bad for a professional announcer to say.

That last half was one of the worst I've seen in a while. What made it even worse was the Denver announcers, mercy those guys want to shower with their team. Tony had a pretty off night, Pops rotations in the 3rd were strange. I think he was trying to put the game away, but I think our bench has been the real factor in this long winning streak. Timmy showing us why he is NBA royalty, he won that game for us.
