I think it'd depend on how we perform in the playoffs. I can't see McHale staying if we flame out in the first round.

The missing piece is a good coach.

At this point I think that we are going to see McHale get a contract extension this offseason. The only way that I don't see him back is if the team flames out over the next twelve games and misses the playoffs, or if he just doesn't want to come back.

I do think that Sampson will get the Cougar job, so the big change for next season could just be Chris Finch becoming the lead assistant.

to me the only way he gets an extension is if the make it to the WCF. He really has to overachieve. After that he will walk away maybe have something to do with the organization or just be a figure head. I also think he can could go and do something in Boston.
