I love Lance's Passion. He was fired up. It sucks he got thrown out; but when he's mad I like that Lance. Also Paul George and Roy seemed to get back on track tonight after a few rough games lately. I think Lance is still an X Factor in the matchup because of his ability to match Wade like he did tonight.

The important thing is that we played our brand of basketball tonight. That's our identity. We're an inside-out team. We're not a perimeter team.

Ok I somehow was able to avoid social media all day at uni so I didn't cop the scores.

Just finished watching after I got home and tbh I wasn't confident at all. But I'm very happy to be wrong and very glad to get the win. :D

If Hibbert has more 1st qtr like that in the playoffs we'll do very well.

What a game! Doubts are gone now, we are going to get that HCA and we are going to do it our way. Phenomenal atmosphere in the BLF as well, just awesome all round!

Re. Evan Turner - I agree it can be frustrating to see him hang on to the ball, but actually I think it is a good sign that he is going for his own plays, I wish he would be good from the three but that and defense is the only area where he really lags behind George. He is good at making plays for himself and that is a useful addition to have to the team.

Those two George dunks were momentum changers in my opinion, it was great to see him take it to the hoop strong, I have missed that in recent months. And the West 3, might have been a travel but my god was I shouting at the screen! (Just as I was with the Bosh 3....)

Seriously gets old how much Lebron and Wade pander to the refs and nothing happenes to them. Lance's ejection was crap. He was doing nothing and the ref was not going to call anything until Wade went over and complained, and it was obvious. Part of that type of stuff makes me feel like we will never get a fair shot against them.

I thought turner played great. I continue to love his game, he passes when the pass is there. That wrap around around the back pass (to Hibbert?) underneath the basket was beautiful.
I hope this gets PG back on track.
I thought the officiating was horrendous for both teams

Yeah agreed on the officiating. Didn't want to comment on it, but it was pretty atrocious throughout I thought.Let's hope for better work in the actual play-offs.

Agreed. Lance was actually being very toned down, per usual Lance. I think that first double tech should never have been called, and the call that ejected Lance should have been a "warning" by the official. I respect the officials are trying to keep the game clean, but like that David west anticipation call they had to walk back from, it seems like they are calling these techs in anticipation of things that have just not happened yet. When Garnett tells melo " LaLa's hoo-haw smells like honey nut Cheerios, by all means call a tech, that's taunting, but when there is a stare and the word "what" after a huge play.....C'mon. I don't want to watch robots out there. I want my players to be passionate. If staring someone down after hitting a big shot was against the rules when Reggie played, he wouldn't have finished a single game.

Well, the officials can't give a "warning" to Lance after his 2nd tech. Once any player has 2, they have to be ejected. Clearly the 1st tech never should have been called, but after the 2nd one, the ref can't just say they screwed up and not eject him.

Ya I know, and that's what blows about throwing around double techs willy nilly in the first half. When a great game gets heated in the fourth quarter, players have to get tossed, instead of refs breaking things up and tellin players to cool off.

The point I was making was the 2nd tech should have never been called in the first place, because Wade's belly aching to the ref made it happen. That ref was not going to call a thing until Wade went and told him to. Go back and watch, it was obvious, especially the face Wade makes in the background towards Lance when it happens.

You are totally right. Savvy move by wade to point out to the official a call he probably didn't want to make, but when wade bitched he felt he had to. I'm not gonna hold that one against him.

And if the tech was for taunting, what about LeBron's and one sign?

He wasn't taunting the crowd. He was taunting Lance and got away with it.

it's like far too much in the NBA. you get a reputation for doing something and the calls change. that can be good - Roy has a reputation for going straight up, and it can be bad - Lance has a reputation for taunting.
