Yep, same here.

In the last 15 years, the Wizards have gone through the most number of coaches in this period: 10. With the lowest regular season winning percentage at 38.3 percent, the Wizards have also not won more than 45 games in a season since 1979.

So let me get this straight, you're all on-board for bringing-on coach #11 and keeping the same clown decision-maker in-place right?

There's a legitimate discussion about the longterm direction of the team, but this season I believe the team had the talent to be top-4 in the current (L)east and should have taken advantage of the opportunity.

I think they would have been sans the Nene injury.

But of course - not planning for some Nene injury time - priceless.

BTW I go to about 5 games a year and always forget how weird of an experience it is. If anyone else has been to other venues you may know what I mean. For example sleep train in Sacramento is about half the size but has an electric feel to it. The Verizon center is pretty nice IMO but has NO emotion. All pageantry and no energy. People running around with flags and fire going off meanwhile half the crowd is on their phone or sleeping. Even during the Gilbert days, I felt like the MCI center was still just a dressed up turd.

this is what I say every home game and people act like they disagree. Its a terrible place. Ive been to games in OKC and its night & day (seen Caron at KD's restaurant on Friday btw). The difference is in the past we were still a better home than road team and I always felt like the quiet building effected our opponents more than us but this year its the opposite. Its killing our team. the whole weird vibe of it. We only look good when we play a team where it feels like a road game. Like LA, MIA, BK, because they bring alot of fans. I do think we will play alot better at home in the playoffs though because for some reason, our same exact fans who are quite will be amped up during those games

I've officially gone over to the dark side - want us to miss the playoffs.

my mind might be changed by a stretch of .850/.900 winning streak to close
the season and either a 1st round series win or a highly competitive series. But
that would almost guarantee EG renewal. Not sure it's worth it.

Jim: For what it's worth, I was disappointed with Consor's response to your call last night.

Me too. Don't have a post-game show and invite people to call-in if you aren't prepared to listen.

I didn't hear it. In Glenn's defense, Ernie is his boss. It sounds like he was in a very awkward position; this is what happens when teams employ the people that cover them.

As you know, I like Glenn. But, I thought he was dismissive and disrespectful to Jim. And pollyana-ish. "You gotta look at all the good moves they've made since last year..." was his basic line of defense. Which is maybe half right -- because you also have to look at the bad moves.

Me too. I like Glen, but trying to compare my desire to see EG canned to someone complaining
about Apple computer...IDK. Apple was for a little while at least the most valuable company
in the world (biggest market cap). That's like winning the NBA championship. So objectively,
they'd be ill-informed or misguided to complain about Apple. I think Apple shareholders,
especially long term ones, are REALLY happy with them.

I was wondering who on the board heard that.

To me, it was the "you gotta look at the good stuff they've done over the past year" line. As if that just cancels out all the bad moves they've made over the preceding decade. And, as if they've actually made a bunch of good moves since last season that remade the team. (When in fact, they made mistakes, misspent resources, and had to dip into future assets to get the team merely to where they thought it would be this season.
