Looks like we're going with an 8-man pen and a bench of Thole, Izturis & Sierra. What a crappy bench.

I don't think our team is as terrible as people make it seem. We're relying on injury prone and inconsistent starters, but if they can somehow stay relatively healthy, who knows, we could be in a playoff race. Our offense and pen is as good as anyone elses

But the bench is pretty horrible - wish there was something we could do to shore it up. Man I wish we got Mark Ellis this offseason. He'd help us out quite a bit at 2nd and is on the bench in St.Louis...
