Ryan Kelly or Jon Leuer fan? Then check out WIS Frank Kaminsky. Story goes he grew from 6'3 to 7' his jr yr in high school, so he's got handle and can shoot 3's.

Yeah it's a shame his career just ended. Oh well.

His rookie year has been almost as bad as Austin Rivers. Zeller started out horriChble but his shooting perventage has climbed nearly 25 points the past month.

Im sure McLemore will be alright, but some thought he might be as good as Beal coming out and thats laughabe

That's not exactly a high mark either. People were talking about freaking Ray Allen as a B-Mac comparison.

I remember bringing up a Gerald Green comparison before last season (before Gerald Green exploded with PHX). The pre-Phoenix-Green comparisons are looking spot on right now.

Green was and still might be a perfect comparison. Thats his ceiling

So you're saying we should stay away from Harris because the Ray Allen comparison means he'll become the Boston version of Gerald Green?

Yeah. Davis has hall of fame type potential. Ill be happy if MKG and Zeller ever make an all star team.

I like Harris. Hes a tenacious defender who has a solid offensive game.

Doesnt matter since those damn Pistons are tanking out of their minds.

That's my point. The Pistons lost big when they ended up with Knight instead of Kemba and will now try to correct the mistake by drafting Ennis.

We missed big when we lost Anthony Davis to ping pong balls and corrected it with Zeller.

It didn't reverse the damage.

I don't see this draft healing the major setback the Pistons incurred when they passed on Kemba.

But anyways, still pissed MKG is so important to our future - makes me want to barf bile.

What planet does anyone believe that we tried to reverse the Davis damage by drafting Zeller?

We never had any right to Davis, the lottery is not a basket any team should put all their eggs in.

Wise move by Zach LaVine to declare for the draft instead of wasting another year at UCLA with a coach that hindered him. I hope Charlotte (with the Portland 1st rounder) --- or Chicago --- select LaVine late in the 1st round

LaVine's father Paul told the Los Angeles Daily News that NBA scouts and personnel believe he will be better off long-term by declaring now.

“They love him,” Paul said. “They’re picturing him at 22.”

LaVine's camp believes he should have been entrusted to handle the ball more with the second unit.

I wonder who is "they". Portland's 1st rounder was recently slated at 22nd the other day

If Charlotte could land LaVine with their Portland 1st rounder it would be as good as a lottery pick. LaVine is that good & skilled that he should be a lottery lock, but Steve Alford misused his talent for whatever reasons, some say nepotism while others think that he just wanted to ensure that LaVine returned for another season to help UCLA win

how long do you guys think it will take lavine to get used to the physicality of the league? obviously has the tools to be a top 10 talent, but seems his body isnt there year. are we talking 1 year? 2 years? 3 yet? seems like a guy you draft and then stick in the weight room for a year before really expecting him to play much. might be ideal since we still have hendo and neal at sg next year, but after that... kinda similar to a jeremy lamb's situation.

that being said, everyone except dx has him higher than the portland pick (as it currently sits).

Zach LaVine won't have anymore trouble adjusting to the physicality of the NBA than Cody Zeller. There's only a handful of shooting guards in the league that'll give him problems physically on the defensive end (Dwyane Wade & Joe Johnson come to mind), but those said players give every shooting guard a handful of difficulty with their strength, length, & size

Charlotte should draft LaVine, cut bait with Jeff Taylor, and re-sign CDR. LaVine would make for a good combo guard off the bench to temporarily spell Kemba for limited minutes at point guard until he's ready to step in as the starting shooting guard another 2-3 years from now, if not sooner

The fact that LaVine's elite athleticism, effortless shooting range & ball handling ability will make him a combine champion could move him out of Charlotte's grasp with the Portland 1st rounder, but the Blazers pick also could very well fall some more by season's end
