According to Yahoo sport Patrick Beverly suffered a torn meniscus last night! If only he sat out like he was suppose to for flu like symptoms! :-(

Trading Brooks looks dumb now.

This is a huge blow to Houston. I hope that Beverley doesn't try to rush back, tho.

Lin & Canaan need to cover this.

Its not like you guys are gonna lose a lot of games now though, the worse thing to do would be to start J Lin, just sign a min vet guy and make him play the ful l court Beverley role. I do wonder if he is gonna go the remove meniscus route to come back quicker, Bledsoe did that.

remove the meniscus is worse long term, look at DWade.
If Bev is out for the O, the Rockets will lose in the 1st round.

Don't get sucked into any of the garbage over there. The GB Mods are zero tolerance on that front.

Kind of like we are going to be if anyone comes to the Houston board with some sort of sick, celebratory posts.

He's pretty key to a lot of our defensive identity, but this is where having great depth comes into play for Houston.

I don't want him to do anything just for short-term gain. He needs to rehab properly. This sucks for us, but can't get caught up thinking in the short-term. We still have a couple other guys to count on that go by names like Dwight, James and a whole lot others!

Point guards in China (Game 6 of their Finals is Sunday)

Stephon Marbury (His team is in Finals) 21.7ppg, 4.7apg on 55% shooting and 35% on threes.

Lester Hudson (his team is in Finals) - avg 26ppg and 4.0apg on 55% shooting and 40% on threes. He's had some success in NBA before.

Sebastian Telfair (team eliminated from playoffs) avg 26ppg and 6.0 apg. 44% shooting and 40% on threes.

Starting line-up should be fine with Lin. The bench is a concern. Looking pretty thin at guard. Canaan is going to have to step up big. Perhaps a rotation where Canaan is always opposite Harden or Lin.

Hopefully Bev takes his time to recover.

edit: I'm guessing McHale is going to go back to a guard rotation similar to last year. Take Lin out roughly halfway through the first, play Harden full 1st qtr, and rotate Lin back in at the start of the second.
