Great win. Cp3 was intense, most emotion I've seen from him in awhile. Barnes needs to stop chucking, if he were a consistent 40% 3pt shooter, I'd be fine with it. But he's not. And if he's ice cold, he still acts like he's hot. He needs to cut to the basket more off the ball. As much as people are down on Dudley, he's a much better shooter than Barnes and I hope he gets some of his mins back should Granger miss games.

Nice bounce back game from Paul. Alot of fire out there. Blake is starting to get good on the defensive end. He put the clamps on Dirk late in the game. Watch out if he continues to D up the opposition.

-on the flip side I wish Crawford could contain himself a bit with the bad shots he takes. When he's wide open by all means take the shot but good g*d, those heaves he throws up with two guys on him are turrrible and hurts the team.

GRIFFIN MOTIVATED BY ‘CAN’T DO’ CRITICS

“For the past, however long, two years or so, all I’ve heard is everything I can’t do,” Griffin said. “I take pride in those things people say I can’t do. [Defense] is one of them. But it’s a long list and it’s going to continue to be like that. I just use that as motivation and try to get better. I mean, obviously, it’s an area that I need to get better in, but at the same time I think sometimes people get a little carried away.”

For the second night in a row, Griffin was asked to defend a fellow All-Star power forward. He frustrated Anthony Davis in New Orleans and held Nowtizki without a field goal in the fourth quarter Thursday.

“He’s a great player and he’s going to score and he’s going to get shots,” Griffin said. “So, I just tried to make it tough for him and my teammates did a great job of not giving a lot of space so he couldn’t see driving lanes and things like that. Fortunately, we got some to rim out.”

“We talk about all the other stuff - his offense and his passing – [but] Blake the last two games especially his defense has been off the charts,” Rivers said. “We didn’t help down the stretch and he guarded, to me, one of the best offensive players in the history of the game, and stayed with him and fought him. Dirk made some shots, but overall Blake was absolutely wonderful.”

that was one of the worst officiated games of the season. It is amazing the Clippers were able to overcome that. Three very head scratching calls come to mind:

1. Bogus offensive foul called on Griffin in the 3rd quarter called at least 2 seconds late that killed the Clippers momentum.

2. Jump ball called when Griffin was clearly being fouled and then the technical foul to add insult to injury.

3. Three foul shots awarded to Dirk even though Blake fouled Vince Carter- what was up with that call? Could have been called a moving screen too. Very lucky Dirk missed 2 of the FTs.
