Re: New Look Forum
Last thing is I think the website would look better with a consistent colour scheme.. If your going black make more things black.. Blue and Orange homepage to black and grey forums is kinda weird.. Blue and Orange should be the colours

Re: New Look Forum
There is no button that takes you back to the top, no one wants to scroll like crazy past all the posts and the wiretap section.

Re: New Look Forum
I'm loving the new features. The only minor quibble I have is the ad under the first post of every page. I hope they end up removing that.

Re: New Look Forum
The design moved up from like an early 1990s feel to a late 1990s feel.
I like though, definitely an improvement.

Re: New Look Forum
Whats up with the draft rights retained section seems pretty pointless to me

My eyes are bleeding.
I was prepared to welcome a visual change... but not this one.

Re: New Look Forum
We need the WireTap back. I'd much rather see NBA headlines than individual game leaders.

Re: New Look Forum
The notifications bar needs to be bolded like it was, otherwise it just looks like the rest of the page. the control panel also needs to be attached to the top of the page, but below the wiretap.

I have to agree. Respectfully, this new look is pretty bad. Additionally, replacing the NBA Wiretap with only team-specific wiretaps is a huge miscue.
I feel like RealGM changes things just to change them.

Also thank god, I've always wanted to know about NBA Historical Individual Game Leaders (Since 1984-1985), but I could never find it.

Re: New Look Forum
This is horrible. How do I get rid of the Wiretap and Personalized For You areas? Just a lot of wasted space and bandwidth there for me, I will never use them and don't want to see them. I just want the forum posts, in text only, that's it. Also, I have Avatar display turned off, but I still see team logos under poster names, how do I turn those off? Again, it wastes space for shorter posts, and needs more scrolling.
Honestly, there was nothing wrong with the old design, I liked it a lot better.

Re: New Look Forum
I think it went from a dated but respectable / simplistic look to a just plain dated look.
Look into Invision Power Board. See if you can port this over to their look because that is what forums should look like these days... This looks like an early 2000s vbulletin clone. And I say that with respect to you guys. Thanks for trying to make some updates. This site has long needed an appearance overhaul. But I think there are better directions that could be taken in terms of aesthetics and overall appearance.

Re: New Look Forum
There should be a thin line separating the last stickied thread from the first non-stickied thread, or any other way to distinguish both sections besides the icon. I just find it hard to quickly look up the first non-stickied thread when there are more than a few stickied.

Every time a new page comes up, I'm convinced for a few moments that it didn't load correctly. After a refresh, I finally accept that what's on my screen was legitimately an aesthetic choice by a web designer.
