Once again Wittman stays with the vets too long. They are an older unit Whitman, you can't play them for long stretches.

Wow...that stretch can only be described as amazingly sucky.

Even starting out hot, Beal still finds a way to go 3/9 thus far. Amazing.

nate, stop putting banana's skins in front of Beal. What's wrong with his shoes?

I don't know who's responsible for setting roles, but someone needs to tell Beal that we don't need a high-volume shooter. Move the ball. Take shots in rhythm, within the confines of the offense.

What is it with our players loving to over hedge on defense giving up wide open baseline drives?

Its the biggest difference in his game between this year and last. He might have had shooting slumps last year, but he didn't ever force the action like he does this season. It's quite unpleasant watching him jack it for no damn reason other than the fact that he can be a good shooter at times.

Nene better go straight into the starting unit when he returns because it doesnt make sense how bad Book is and how much worst we are playing right now with him on the floor. We will probably score on this last play without him. Sure enough we do and its Wall who does it. He always is average with Book and is Superstar with him on the bench. He gets to the rim when book leaves

I don't agree with this all the time but tonight your spot on, Booker has displayed a superior level of suck in this game.

I can't decide who is worse tonight Harrington or Booker. Can we play Gooden and Gortat 24 minutes each in the second half?

Amazing. Randy called two good time outs in one half.

Not only that but he subed in Miller for Beal down at the 1 min mark when he called a TO. Amazing.
Way to go Randy. Now you get it. Thats called coaching. You put your players in a position to succeed.

Ok, here is the problem..

Time to end the Beal initiating the offense experient.

It was fine when we only had one PG. But now we have Miller.

Only two players that should be starting the offense 95% of the time are Wall and Miller.

Beal should be used like a Webster or TA and more like Webster at this point. Spot him up in the corner.

This is playoff time. Wall is young and inexperienced enough. Having him and Beal running the offense isn't going to work. Hell, I might even bring Beal off the bench and start Webster.

Its playoff basketball time. Time to get serious about the line ups and how the offense is run.
They have to transition into this format to win moving forward. No more Beal two many game ****.

Beal can be an effective spot up shooter. Use him that way. He isn't a PG. And he isn't Wade style yet. Stop setting him up to fail.

And Beal... sigh. Guess we can't have Webster play 24 as well? Beal with the -16

He just isn't an every game starter. He is something nice to have coming off your bench though. He has expanded his game this year. But they should be starting either Gooden or playing TA as a S4 with Webster starting.

Booker should not be starting this late in the year when they are getting into playoff mode.

As much as I've been hating on him lately and his current slump, Beal is definitely better.

No he isn't.

Beal has plenty of potential and he'll probably pan out to be a very good player, but he certainly isn't a good player right now. He is an unmitigated disaster on offense with an ORtg of 101 and a USG% of 24.6. His PER is 13.6. Defensively, he's a mixed bag with good potential but the usual mistakes of youth.

Drew Gooden has a PER of 22.2, and ORtg of 119, on a high USG% (for a big) of 22.4. He also pulls down 11.4 boards per 36. His on the ball defense is solid and his help defense is terrible. If I had to win a game tomorrow, I'd absolutely take Gooden before Beal.
