In all seriousness, Hinkie hasn't done anything major, that I've disagreed with since he became GM. Between their focus on having a running team that is good defensively, and their analytical approach, I'm pretty confident they'll select a decent player with the Pelicans pick.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

What position you got him penciled in at the pro level?

Do you guys think Saric is a victim of propaganda or is he another Lindross/RGIII where the family is just too involved?

I've heard he has a bad attitude, and frankly just don't like his game.

I'd much rather have like 15 guys with the pelicans pick.

Him going in the lottery is helpful to us. It just pushes back another player to the Pelicans pick.

do we have euro scouts now? IIRC we didn't for a looong time.

Like Exum, I know nothing of Dario's game outside of highlight tapes...but it sounds like he doesn't fit in our system (well the system I think we want)..however, if it ends up in a situation where Wiggins is our top pick and we don't want to take two wings..he might be the best "big" left. i heard he is an awful shooter and to get my racist on "a euro who can't shoot is kinda useless yo" (not serious here but someone legit sdaid that to me once lol).

Any chance Hinkie can grab Wiggins and Gordon? Love Gordon's athleticism and motor. Still growing, only 18.

Dario's game is basically this.

- great passer (point forward capability)
- great in the pick and roll game
- gets out in the open floor and dazzles
- big-time shot maker (but poor shot selection)
- great rebounder (but short arms hurt his transitioning this skill at the NBA level)
- God-awful defender
- bad body language during games (think Evan Turner)
- reportedly bad attitude and overbearing family

If Gordon declares, I think someone in the top 10 will fall in love with his "potential". His shooting is legendarily bad and he is mentally between positions and taking a defensive only player in the top 10 is weird and potentially dangerous as it he could never be more than that...

and yet...kid just wins

Hmmm...we could use him if he can fill our psycho quota.

He'll get drafted, he just won't be a 1st round pick. He's a pretty poor defensive rebounder given his size.

oh ok..I figured it was something like that. I guess he just goes **** everytime I happen to watch then. It was weird that a 7ft that can stretch the D wasn't popping up more.

While teams watch film on Sam Dekker, Kaminsky is gonna pop off the screen. He'll go in the top 40.

I'll take his motor, defense, athletic ability, rebounding and bank on an 18 year improving his offensive game.

Offense was off tonight, but came up with some big shotsdown the stretch and 18 rebounds.

Kaminsky is really skilled. He's not a bad defender OR rebounder either. Underrated for sure. Probably because he's a big goofy looking white dude.

He's actually a poor rebounder for his size

He's a 17% defensive rebounder at the NCAA level. That doesn't bode well for him cleaning the defensive glass as a pro.
