Re: Kings @ Pelicans
Rudy has been losing the ball a little bit it seems. Turnovers need to be down. turnovers that lead to breaks in my perception

Re: Kings @ Pelicans
Ben McLemore adjusting well to a real SG role with IT out. No hesitation. Ball handling is still shaky but getting better.

Different play calls for him right now. They are actively running more and more plays for him, not just using him as an option off the ball from someone else' play set. He's not always taking a ton of shots but the majority of the shots he's getting are intended.

DMC: 14 pts; 4/7
Gay: 13 pts; 5/11
Ray Mac: 12 pts; 4/6
BMac: 10 pts; 3/5
Pretty efficient across the board and getting the right people scoring. Looking forward to seeing what they can do in this next half.

This starting unit is getting some chemistry. This team just looks so much better when not running the you know what, hehe.

And the tank gods are on the Kings side.
No way was that a flagrant 2. I wasn't even sure it was flagrant.

16 pt third quarter for DMC. Beastin.
And I agree. Really starting to like the look of our starting unit. Ray Mac missed some shots pretty badly, but all in all it's looking good. Unfortunate that we couldn't close that third better, but if we could narrowly lose this game I wouldn't be too mad...

This is exactly why the hating on Ray Mac the other night was far too soon. I've mentioned that he missed a number of shots pretty badly today, been blocked a number of times as well. But he doesn't let it affect his game and he has an uncanny feel for how to run the team. He seems to know when he needs to make something happen himself and when to look for others. IT's injury may have been huge for us in finding out what we have in Ray Mac for next season.
22 pts and 9 asts so far. Get that double-double Ray!

I have always maintained I wouldn't trade DeMarcus for Anthony Davis and will continue to maintain that

I'll take a year of ray mac for under a million than 3 to 4 more years of the pizza guy at 7 or 9 million

Ray Mac baby, love his defense!
Post that ish on the rookie thread in the general board, seems like no one is even noticing his play.

I'd like to be wrong, and yes a very solid game. There is a difference between hate though and having the mindset that a player should display skills before you show a long term interest in him. Lets see if he can put together a string of games similar to this one before we cross the long term Ray bridge.

Fair point. Hate was the wrong word.
