For those of you who are from the LA area, what are some of the best clubs there? Also what is the guest list and cover charge situation like? The reason I ask is because I might be down there some time next month.

I saw spring breakers... It was cool visually I guess.

I liked the continuous, unbroken shot of the chicken shack robbery; it was like a series of vignettes. Also, the low angle on the pier when everything was neon was cool.

Otherwise I don't think it's anything special, I mean the themes were a little on the nose - so it's not like it was uber-deep.

Are both of those places strip clubs? I was asking more along the lines of night clubs. But I'll keep those two places in mind.

I haven't been to LA clubs in years, but when I use to live in LA at Santa Monica, West LA, Hollywood Hills, and Pasadena, the good times I had at the clubs was with who I went with as oppose to where I was going. Find a good group of friends and enjoy the city where ever you go. Doesn't matter about where as much.

Avalon is my favorite club, but it depends on what kind of music you like. What SK says is only slightly true. Obviously people you're with matters but the club, the music they play, and the clientele matters more imo. A lot of clubs just suck and can ruin the night

You could work for Monsanto when you finish.

that was actually the plan even after my undergraduate degree. fortunately I got hired in a research institute, got a stable job, allowed me to study part time while working full time, and now got the nod that they prefer me to take a different degree for my masters.

I mean Agronomy ain't bad. highly technical but manageable though I can't see how I can relate this with my work.

Make the switch for your job, earn your Agicultural Enginneering degree. When you finish, you can try to get Agronomy. You'll be in school until you die but it might be worth it.

that was actually my dillema before. I wanted to take Agronomy but most of subjects my job needs is in Engineering. then I thought of getting extra subjects but I'm not being supported by anyone so that move is costly. now if I do the other way around I could be done faster. problem is I'm not sure if they will allow me to shift.

from an economist degree to agronomy and now engineering.
