I've mentioned that he missed a number of shots pretty badly today, been blocked a number of times as well. But he doesn't let it affect his game and he has an uncanny feel for how to run the team. He seems to know when he needs to make something happen himself and when to look for others. IT's injury may have been huge for us in finding out what we have in Ray Mac for next season.

22 pts and 9 asts so far. Get that double-double Ray!

I'd like to be wrong, and yes a very solid game. There is a difference between hate though and having the mindset that a player should display skills before you show a long term interest in him. Lets see if he can put together a string of games similar to this one before we cross the long term Ray bridge.

I don't even think showing long term interest in someone like Ray McCallum should be tied to his personal numbers. Not yet at least until you know you need them. Hopefully this team doesn't need him to take 20 shots a game. I think the interest should be how he fits the needs around your core. The one thing I like from him is he has shown that willingness to set up the offense as Pill would say. He's not just creating things for others when he doesn't have a shot for himself, that's the important part.

Ray Mac baby, love his defense!

Post that ish on the rookie thread in the general board, seems like no one is even noticing his play.

I hope IT is still out tomorrow vs. the Lakers. I really just wanna see a whole lot of Ray Mac starting as we finish the season. How well he plays down the stretch this year will be huge in allowing us flexibility with the draft and determining whether we resign IT or not. But damn, great game from the rookie.

I don't know if he was fit or not but it might have to do with the -15 +/-. The bench itself was subpar but he needs to play with purpose and give us hope for his future, not floating around
