I caught up with the game in the 2nd half and didn't start watching until the 4th. I know that we went on a crazy run in the 3rd that basically sealed the game. The Twolves came back a little too late and we get another win. I'm glad Blake sat tonight, I'd rather he play when the back spasms stop bothering him. Good win, good team effort, and I'm glad some other guys stepped up.

Clippers ride Jordan to victory over Timberwolves

“His energy is amazing,” Paul said. “He’s just so durable. He plays every night. Tonight, it was pretty much just him in there rebounding, and he managed to do it.”

Jordan is the only Clipper who hasn’t missed a game this season for injury, and he has played 232 consecutive games – the longest active streak in the NBA.

“It’s something that’s rare in this league. I’ve never played 82 games in a season,” Paul said. “It’s amazing.”

It’s one thing to just show up to work and another to do your job well, and right now, Jordan’s doing his job well.

“My job doesn’t change when Chris or Blake go down,” Jordan said. “… My job is going to continue to be the same – set screens, get guys open, rebound the basketball and play defense.”

This mentality reminds me Popovich or Thibodeau type of teams. The team should continue to play their game despite injuries, which is possible when there are systems in place. I know that there is more talent to go around now as opposed to the past, but there's still a huge difference. On past teams under the previous coaches, everything had to go right for there to be success. There was much less room for error. Now, there is a bit more flexibility. Players embrace the opportunity and step up to the challenge. Nobody's hanging their heads when times get tough.
