COPELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post#1 » by GrandBasterd » Tue Apr 1, 2014 5:16 am

ESPN has told me that the pacers have scored under 80 in 5 of the last 6 games, the first to do that since the bobcats in the lockout year.

We need offense. Copeland = offense.
I like Scola a lot. I do. He's a good guy. We can objectively say we WAY over paid for him, especially with the signing of Copeland. Why the Frack did we sign Copeland?!! So when our offense struggles we play him 3 minutes? I really think dude could be like the kyle korver of the 4, and THATS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED. Better spacing and a deadly shot.....
we have him.
on our bench.
instead of draining three's, stretching the court, massaging our offense into something not terrible, something capable of inducing fear and doubt and instability for the opposing defense, we have a mess.

WE NEED MORE COWBELL! (copeland)

we signed Copeland before the Scola trade not after it. while I don't think Cope is the answer, I think we might want to concede the top seed and rest West for the playoffs.

I would like to see Copeland and Lance play together. I think those two could make a good pairing because lance is excellent at driving and can Easily kick it out to copeland for 3s

Butler can also hit the 3 and he's better at defending the small forward spot, but I'm a big believer in sitting players down when they screw up so I'm all for giving the starters fewer minutes when they deserve to sit.

I'm definitely in favor of playing Copeland more. We really do need his offense at times.

That said, our offense would improve if we utilized our bigs correctly. We're not doing that lately and that's why we're losing.

I'm aware of that, but it makes the trade of a pick, green n plumlee for an offensive 4 seem stupid. Why did we sign Copeland to not play him at all. These two moves were a Big Bird mistake no?

Ohhh. And I don't think cope is 'the answer'. I just think he is a weapon in the arsenal that hasn't been given a chance to fire, and I wanna see what happens if he does. No better time when you have the second worst offense in the league in 2014.
