It looked like Lin had a good game. I don't see what all the complaining is about. He was the one who led the comeback in the 3rd. He got pulled in the 4th and that seemed to break his "stride". He had an offensive foul, then a little failed flip shot. I missed the rest of the game but it was only a minute left and they were down by 8...game was pretty over. I know McHale wanted to give him a breather, but I dunno...wouldn't you rather keep the guy in?

I thought Canaan played well, too...hit some big shots and played good D. He got fouled a couple times with no calls.

Parsons is not an elite defender. Honestly, I don't even know if I'd call him a good defender. I don't see what McHale sees in him...giving him the toughest assignments, but I'm starting to think it's not so much that Parsons is a good defender as Harden is HORRIBLE and it's about giving Harden the EASIEST assignment.

On that note, Harden was horrible again...two nights in a row where it seems like he just doesn't give a crap on D. There was a sequence in the 4th when he gave Ross an easy layup (where Harden hurt his finger on the backboard), then gave PPat an easy backdoor for another bucket.

Just had to stop watching the game half way(Refs feed) so tried the Rockets feed when I started watching again(ballstreams is godly people)..

It just seemed like the rocket commentators were non-stop about the bad calls-just wondering from the rockets end was the first half that badly refed? Again I know posting on other teams boards is asking for trouble on game nights just wanted to know if the calls were that bad from your view point or if the commenators were in super saiyan homer mode?

There was IMO quite a bit of home cooking in terms of reffing. It seems like there is a consensus on the Raptors board that Lin was fouled on the last play? I'm still pretty upset on that, would have been amazing if the ball got to the wide open Casspi or if the foul was called we would have a big chance to tie it. Harden still got his, but everyone else got lopsided treatment from the refs.
MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

Very good. Just saw the first half-and did not seem close to the amount of sarcasm/comments made by the commentators. They flat out...well it was borderline ridiculous.

(for reference- watch the Raptors last game...)

Goodluck in the playoff boys/gals. If all else fails-please beat the Clips 8-)

***agian I know its hit or miss on posting on other team boards after games.;...not trying start anything! PB was a huge loss but you folks have a solid chance at WCF+ )

At what point in the game? The Rockets were behind nearly the entire second half. When did they lead?

Chandler has stepped up his game which is good but now it's Jordan's turn. He's disappointing me during his opportunity to become a valuable piece of this team.

they were leading in the first quarter (if i remember correctly as much as 12)
then they start losing it around midway in 1st quarter (nothing new, always like that)
totally lost it in 2nd quarter

Apparently Morey was on the radio 790 with some injury news and it isn't good. Dwight will continue to be out, TJones has some upper body injury and Lin has ongoing back problems that could limit his minutes or take him out of a few games down the stretch. If that's the case more of a load for the already overworked Parsons, Harden who will have to step up. Asik is solid but he's still working at getting back to playing big minutes and Casspi, Garcia, and Hamilton, one of them has to step up. DMo may be the biggest factor and really needs to step up. But he has to stay on the court to do so and looks foul-prone in his recent games.

I think play to DMo's post game and a different style and hope Lin's back can be good enough to keep him on the floor at least around 30 minutes a game. But drop expectations of him having big games, he's physically hampered. My suspicion is so is Parsons, I think his back is flaring up too.

He's too young to declare a scrub imo but he's sure missing his chance to lock in with this team. I like his odds at becoming a quality wing defender but we need more from him. He's already a decent scorer.

Come On Jordan!

Raptors fan here. What's with the Lin hate? He played very well yesterday, big part of the 20 point comeback. Clutch 3 at the end.

Dang, this sucks huge, we can't afford to lose homecourt. No wonder Lin isn't his usual self. McHale driving the guys too hard, it's better to have better strategies than using energy.

Maybe it was just the surprise factor that got him some open looks at first.

There is this massive Lin hate in the most popular Rockets fan site (don't visit, it's a "Linch" jungle out there, you're gonna die!~~~~~~~) and perhaps a bit of that has carried over here. But mainly IMO it's just high expectations, we get frustrated whenever his man scores, whenever he turns the ball over, whenever he misses a shot, whenever his passes don't end up being an assist and whenever the team loses. A- isn't gonna be accepted!

Na, fans from other teams are very much welcomed to post here at anytime, but acting stupid is another thing.

I'm disappointed. Not so much with the losses, but the defensive effort hasn't been there the last two games. Not moving the ball well either. I just really hope we can hold onto a 4/5 sort matchup. Our schedule after the OKC game isn't too bad...not great either though.
