Al gives us a dimension we've never had before but at the same he's so good at his dimension that we become too one dimensional at it (for relative success)

Considering that from the small sample size we've had without Al, where we also played quite well, the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.

This is why I am pushing for a major upgrade at shooting guard this off season. Draft a shooting small and sign lance and this team is a force. We would most likely have to move Henderson for peanuts but that's ok

We absolutely don't need anyone else at SF. Not sure where this is coming from. Our worst stretch of the season by far was when MKG was out with the hand injury. We have two guys who can shoot and play good defense coming of the bench in Taylor in CDR. You don't need four or five shooters in your lineup to be a good team. People are way overreacting to recent fads.

Well versed...

All of this need for 3&D wings and stretch 4 power forwards is so aggravating and disrespectful to the conventional way of playing winning basketball in which is more proven

Looking at that site and statistical comparisons makes me realize that Marc Gasol isn't exactly having a banner year. 14/7 on 46% shooting? I'd definitely have Jefferson over him.

Gasol's impact is mostly on the defensive end & facilitating, not scoring on high efficiency, but I'm still one of the most obliged by the Jefferson signing since day 1

Yeah, but I still figured he'd be shooting at a higher percentage.

Being that the All-Star Game is voted on from a backcourt/frontcourt basis instead of respective positions the NBA had somewhat of a excused reason to leave Jefferson off the team even though I still believe he should've made it, but it's going to be hard to justify leaving Jefferson off one of the three All-NBA teams with regard to position

That's a great site. Big ups to the Bobcats PR department.

Sign a Hayward or Stephenson and we have no need to replace MKG, at all. Our spacing issues would be completely solved.

Someone posted on the GB how Jefferson should be All NBA first team. Thrilled hes getting the recognition he deserves.

Yeah, but I still figured he'd be shooting at a higher percentage.

You can explain it with the places his shots come from. He mostly works from the high post, from the free throw line and such. Combine that with his lack of athleticism and he doesn't really attempt that many shots at the rim, they usually are hook shots in the post or mid-range jumpers. Him having 10% less FGAs at the rim than Al, yet 8% more from the 10-16 foot range is a good enough reason to have a 4% worse FG percentage in comparison with Al I'd say.

Not to be hyperbolic, but I think it's safe to say that Al is the best player in Bobcats history at this point. Jeez, Gerald Wallace and Emeka Okafor have been our claim to fame. So gross.

Thought you were kidding... there was literally no reason for that to be locked (no conflict and on-topic). I don't really care about the GB but I almost want to pm a mod out of curiosity.

Found on the toronto board...

I had to laugh at the question!

I wonder what it would take to get him this off-season if they are willing to move him.
